Rishab gets the contract from another multinational company and gets happy as they could repay debt for one their ancestral property

Karan ; ha toh
Rishab : woh zameen hume mil jayegi aur phir papa ka sapna bhu pura ho jayega
“Lekin tera kya bhai, jo sapne tune dekhe the iss parivar ne teri shaadi ke liye sajaye the woh toh sab khatam ho jayenge, aur main kuch nai kar paunga” Karan wonders
His anger towards Preeta increases every moment
Karan ; yeh tumne theek nahi kiya Preeta, maine apne aap se jyada tum par bharosa kiya tha aur tumne kiya, sab khatam kar diya (throws wine glass angrily in room )
Sameer : bhai woh detective humne hire kiya usne yeh pictures diye hai jisne sherlyn ki madad ki iss ghar mein ghusne ke liye
Karan : mujhe ache se pata hai kaun hoga woh ullu ka pattha prithvi hi hoga (sees the pictures)

Karan looks at him staringly while Preeta comes at Luthra house with Shrishti
Rakhi : Preeta beta, kaha thi tu aur yeh chot kaise lagi tujhe
Preeta : rakhi aunty woh mera chota sa accident ho gaya tha, please mujhe karan se milna hai kaha hai woh
Rakhi ; apne kamre mein, Preeta sun toh
Preeta comes running to Karan’s room who is facing to other side. His eyes are dried and becomes red
“Karan” she says softly
He turns around…she runs to hug him tightly
“I am sorry, I am sorry Karan main janti hu tum mujhse bahut naraz ho, nahi rok payi yeh shaadi sab khatam ho gaya please mujhse nafrat mat karna” Preeta keeps tightening her grip with tears in his arms
Karan stands lifelessly and does not hug her back
Preeta : please kuch bolo, tum jante ho mujhe tumhari yeh khamoshi kitni chub ti hai
“Acha, kya baat hai Preeta Arora, aaj tak tumhe meri baatein bakwaas lagti thi” Karan says
She looks up to him confusingly
Karan : kya hua chehre ka rang kyu udd gaya Preeta Arora, sahi kaha na maine aaj tak toh tumhe meri baatein, harkato se chid hoti thi
Preeta : kya keh rahe ho (tries to go near him)
Karan : dur rehna mujhse, don’t try to touch me main bahut gusse mein hu dur rehkte baat karna mujhse okay
She nods fearfully seeing rage and pain together first time
Preeta : meri baat toh suno Karan ek baar (pleads to him) tum nahi jante kya hua hamare saath
Karan : really batao kya hua
Preeta reveals everything to him
Karan (claps) : wow, Preeta lekin ek baat batao tum toh sherlyn ke saath har time thi tumhe phir bhi pata nahi chala ki uska partner kaun hai
Preeta ; nahi Karan
Karan : I will show you (puts envelope in her hands) see this
Preeta is extremely shocked to see pictures of Sherlyn and Prithvi together and keeps changing pictures tearfully
Karan : ab bolo ki karan tum jhut bol rahe ho, Prithvi ji se jalte ho vagera, isse bhi jutla do (holds her shoulder tightly)
Preeta does not react and falls on floor with thud
“Iss tarah aasu bahane se na kuch nahi hoga, aur karo bharosa uss Prithvi par, bahut shauk tha na tumhe usse shaadi karne ka, aaj jo bhu hua na iss ghar mein you are responsible for this did you hear me” Karan shouts at her
She does not say anything but only listens to him
“Hurt tumne mujhe kiya sabse jyada, jab dil tut ta hai na Preeta toh yaha (points at his heart) dard hota hai lekin uski awaz nahi aati, I was so proud of you and myself ki main tumhara dost hu lekin you finished everything” Karan makes her stand
Preeta (breaks in heavy tears) : I am sorry Karan, bahut hurt kiya maine tumhe (her voice stammers) sabko maaf kardo mujhe
Karan : never, tumhe kabhi maaf nahi karunga main iss ke liye toh bilkul bhi nahi, I hate you
The last words striked hard to Preeta’s heart directly shattering her last hopes of convincing him
