ABHIGYA

Abhi’s one hand caressed Pragya’s waist and the other loving held her hand. Pragya had her one hand on Abhi’s shoulder and the other on his hand.

Abhi: my queen, you look more beautiful today. What is the secret?

Pragya: the secret of a wife’s beauty is her husband’s love

Abhi: vah! Biwi kya line bola tumne!!!

Pragya smiles.

Abhi: concentrate on the dance dear…..

PRACHI- PRANAV

Prachi had looked Ranbir and she saw him smiling at Rhea. She thought he was happy with Rhea.

Prachi( in mind): if he is happy with her, then why should I look at her. And dancing with Pranav and looking at Ranbir is a sign of disrespect to Pranav. I should not do so.

She smiled at Pranav. He smiled back at her.

RHEA- RANBIR

Rhea(in mind): finally I havey dream boy in my embrace. Ahh…. My Ranbir…. I know you still have feelings for Prachi… But I will make you mine completely…. This is a promise that I make to myself.

Rhea tried to get close to Ranbir but he always kept a distance from her. He was dancing with Rhea but his eyes remained fixed upon Prachi.

Ranbir (in mind): hey….. Why is this girl moving so close to me? And that Prachi…. Ranbir you are mad… You are looking at her and she….. She didn’t even give you a glance. That Pranav is really enjoying I guess. But thay are not so close…. He is standing where I should be…. But yes, I am the one who asked Rhea for the dance…. Ranbir……( Parth’s incident and Prachi’s words came to his mind)…. No, I should not think of her… She has cheated me, broke my heart…..

ARYAN- SHAHANA

They are happy a dance and is being this close for the first time. Both were feeling shy and nervous.

Shahana: oh God!! What happens to me when he is around me….. I can hear my heart beat….. And when was he so disturbed and he behaved weird while asking me to be his pair? Shahana leave it, you have your Aryaan with you…… Remember be calm, don’t act foolish….

Aryaan: what magic do she cast on me??? When she is around, I am completely different….. I hope I could tell you this…..

NEERAJ- SHRENU

They were having a brother- sister type of dance.

Shrey: bhai, why did you tell me to remove my sandals?

Neeraj: accha, did you forget? Last time you stamped on my legs wearing your heels and we lost the competition.

Shrenu: accha…. Then I will also remind an incident… You stamped on my frock and o fell down.

Neeraj:…well….. It does not happen always…

Shrenu: of course, it only happens when the dancing is a competition… And now this is not a competition, so nothing of that sort will happen.

Neeraj: that is true…. But only when you dumbo is my partner.

Shrenu: kya bola? (She pinched him).

Neeraj: aahhh( not so loud, but Uday and Uma heard it).

Uday: kab bade hoge yeh dono???

UMA: kab sudaroge???

The song changes. The partners should be changed.

Pragya was about to move but Abhi pulled her closer.

Pragya: what are you doing?

Abhi: they are all kids… I am the one perfect for you…. So don’t go na….

Pragya: aap bhi na…

Shahana was about to move but Aryaan pulled her closer and held her hand tightly ( like he never wanted to let her go).

Shahana was surprised.

Shahana ( in mind): what is he doing? Why is not allowing me to change the pair?

Aryan (in mind): because I don’t want to let you go…

Shahana (in mind): acha…. Why?

Aryan(in mind): because I am one perfect for you… And I don’t want to see you dancing with someone else….

Shahana (in mind): you… Perfect for me?… Hahaha the best comedy of the year….

The others had changed their pair. Now the pairs are : ABHIGYA, ARHANA, PRANBIR, NEERAJ-RHEA, PRANAV-SHRENU

PRANAV-SHRENU

SHRENU: of of bhaiyya…. How was the dance with Prachi….??

PRANAV: I felt normal..

SHRENU: oh oh bhaiyya… Well will you learn to be romantic??

PRANAV: hey choti, remember I am your brother… By the way, you and Neeraj dance and nothing happened…. It is a miracle.

SHRENU: problems only happen if it is a competition.. by the way, if it is a competition, our pair used to be first right?

PRANAV: yaa sahi kaha…

they want to be with each other….. But many things are preventing their union….

Prachi looked into his eyes…. The eyes that always had immense love and care for her was now cold….

Ranbir (in mind): I had always wanted to hold you close to me like this…. But you broke my heart into prices…. It  is easy to break 💔 something but very difficult to join them back…. Even if it is joined, it won’t look as beautiful as it was earlier.

They danced and Prachi was about to plance her leg on broken glass pieces, Ranbir saved her.

Ranbir: even if you hate me, I will always save you….

Prachi: I know..

(A servant cleaned the glass pieces).

Everyone came back to their actual pair. The song ended. The lights turned on. Everyone clapped and appreciated the pair.
