They went away from the party.
Tanu:”so, Prachi, the money transfer has been done. (She showed it on her phone) Now, take your mum and leave from here. Leave and never come back.”
Prachi:”you think that i will really do that…”
Tanu looked at her confused.
Prachi:”you have betrayed a lot of people. So I thought to give a taste of your own medicine. Thank you for the money but i am not leaving with Maa.”
Tanu:”what do you mean?”
Prachi:”we are not leaving. I lied to you. You thought i will help someone as disgusting as you. I have never seen a more disgusting women.”
Tanu, angrily:”Prachi…. how dare you?”
Prachi:”that’s the truth. You lied to everyone, trapped Papa in false accusations, how can you think that Papa will love you after this? Instead he will hate you and be disgusted by you his whole life…”
Tanu was about to slap but Prachi stopped her hand.
Prachi:”How much will you lie? You are going to get caught in your own lie.”
Tanu, laughing:”and what are you going to do? You have no proof.”
Prachi:”i will find out the entire truth…”
Tanu:”Take your time… (laughing) actually you don’t have time. Well, since you are not going to find anything. Nor any proof against me. (Tanu observed Prachi carefully) let me tell you.
Yes, i accused Abhi of raping me when actually he didn’t do anything. Even in his crazy state, he ran away from me. He didn’t touch me. Even in that state, he didn’t let me touch him…. but i had to gain him somehow….”
Prachi, smiled a little hearing her confession.
Arhana and Ranbir also were happy.
Tanu, proudly, continued:”i had to do something to have him back… i love him…. oh but poor you, you will never understand what is love. You are so stupid… you gave away your love. That’s stupid.
Rhea is better than you… she did everything to have her love… and you… you are just stupid.
Ranbir clenched his fist and was about to come out but Arhana stopped him.
Aryan:”Remember she should not know that we recorded everything until we show it in court.”
Tanu:”and for whom you did all this? For Pragya… that Pragya who forgot you once she got Rhea’s love.”
Prachi:”i told you this before as well. She did not forget me… she is just spending time with Rhea… she missed…”
Arhana and Ranbir were confused by what was happening.
Tanu:”yeah, yeah… she missed 20 years and all… i heard you before as well. But you are not being able to bear it right? Ranbir is hating you, no one cares about you and Rhea has been threatening you all along. Too much to handle right?”
Prachi:”that’s not true.”
Tanu:”oh, come on, Prachi. Now you are lying to yourself. You cannot bear Ranbir with Rhea, you cannot bear his hatred and your parents do not care about you.”
Prachi:”stop your nonsense.”
The boys and Shahana looked at each other confused.
Tanu, smirked:”no one saw it right? Neither Ranbir/Shahana nor your parents.”
Prachi looked on confused:”what are you talking about?”
Tanu, still smirking:”someone else might not see it but i saw them. The marks on your hand proved how much you are affected by all of this.”
Prachi grew tensed hearing her while the three others were shocked.
Tanu held Prachi’s hand and moved her bangles.
Tanu:”these marks… (Prachi jerked her hand away) you did these whenever you wanted to cry, whenever you hurt Ranbir, whenever Rhea/Aliya called you names, whenever you were being ignored by Pragya.”
The boys and Shahana were too shocked to react.
Tanu, threatening:”don’t you dare mess with me, Prachi! And i will forgive you for that lie (money). Keep it, you might use it afterwards.”
Saying this, Tanu left while Prachi stayed quiet.
She also rushed inside her room, went to the washroom and locked it.
She didn’t want to face anyone. She knew she did wrong by cutting but that was helping her. Helping her not to cry, helping her not to feel guilty and helping not to feel jealous.
Shahana thought about earlier when Prachi asked for make-up. She used it on her hand to cover the marks.
Aryan:”guys, we need to be with her. You guys go, I will keep an eye on Tanu.”
He noticed both of them still in shock.
Aryan:”Ranbir? Shahana? Go…”
And they both nodded and went.
The two of them rushed to the washroom and knocked.
Shahana:”Prachi, open the door. Please Prachi, come out. Ranbir, tell her…”
Ranbir knocked:”Prachi, it’s ok… come out. Please… no one will question. Just come out. Please.”
They heard her unlocking the door and she came out.
Tears were rolling down her cheeks but she was expressionless.
Shahana held her hands which was still covered with make-up and stroked it.
Ranbir:”it’s ok…”
Prachi forwarded her other hand. Her fist was closed.
Shahana and Ranbir looked on confused.
She opened her fist and showed them the blade. And her palm was bleeding a bit.
Shahana removed the blade and threw it while Ranbir tended to her hand.
Shahana, crying, hugged her followed by Ranbir.
Aryan also came there and joined the hug.
After some time, Shahana bandaged her hand. They didn’t question her, they just cared for her.
Aryan:”i got another video.”
He showed them how Tanu met Abhijeet and Tanu told him that it was all a plan to trap Abhi and get his money. Then she will be with him. He also played along.
Ranbir:”we got every proof that we needed. Now we are going to save Chief. But no one should know this. It stays between us until court.”
They all nodded.
Shahana:”we should go back in the party. Tanu is going to make masi sign the papers. We need to exchange it.”
They all went back to the party.
