Prachi and Ranbir (Pranbir) story Part 6

They went back to the party where everyone was requesting Ranbir to sing a song. He did it only for Abhi.

He went on stage and took the mike.

Ranbir:”i will sing a song which only a special person heard.”

Ranbir started to sing Haareya, looking at Prachi all the time. She also remembered how he sung it on the camp site. Her eyes were filled with tears.

He finished the song while Prachi wiped her tears.

Abhi:”i know everyone singing skills over here except Prachi. Come on, Prachi. Once.”

Prachi wanted to refuse but couldn’t. Abhi insisted Ranbir to stay with her on stage.

Prachi sung:

‘Khud pe pehle na itna yakeen. Mujhko ho paaya

Mushkil si ghadiyan aasaan huin. Ab jo tu aaya

Ik baat kahun tujhse. Tu paas hai jo mere

Seene se tere sarr ko lagaa ke

Sunti main rahun naam apna, naam apna.’

Prachi was about to leave the stage, but she slipped and was about to fall.

But the fall never happened since two arms were protecting her.

Prachi looked on as Ranbir held her close.

Prachi became teary eyed and sung:

‘Hoon besahara tere bin main

Tu jo na ho toh main bhi nahi

Dekhun tujhe yaara jitni dafa main

Tujhpe hai aata mujhko yakeen

Sabse main juda hoke abhi

Teri rooh se jud jaaun main’

Ranbir looked at her lovingly, while she was so lost in him that she didn’t know what she was singing. The words just flew out.

‘Mila jo tu yahan mujhe

Dilaun main yakeen tujhe

Rahun hoke teri sada

Bas itna chaahti hoon main

Thodi jagaah dede mujhe

Tere paas kahin reh jaaun main

Khamoshiyan teri sunu

Aur door kahin na jaaun main

O lekhdi tera naa jindari zaaniye

Bas rehna tere naal ve zuriye

Rehna tu pal pal dil ke paas

Judi rahe tujhse har ik saans’

Her tears finally broke free while Ranbir was admiring her.

Everyone clapped as the song ended. Prachi realised what she did and moved away from Ranbir.

She secretly wiped her tears and ran away.

Rhea also left followed by Aliya. Abhi and the others were confused by what was happening.

Prachi went outside and went to the pool. Staring at her reflection, she bursted in tears. This time, she couldn’t stop herself from crying.

Ranbir came to her.

Ranbir:”what happened inside, Prachi? Was it just a song and didn’t mean anything or… something else. What did it mean?”

But she stayed silent.

Ranbir:”won’t you say it? You don’t love me then what was it? Say it, Prachi. Say that you hate me. Say that you were with me for my money. Say that you don’t love… Say it, Prachi….”

Unable to control herself, Prachi hugged Ranbir and cried vigorously.

He hugged her back.

Ranbir:”why are you hurting yourself so much? Why?”

But Prachi just continued to cry and he let her. He knew she had to calm down.

Arhana also came outside and ran to Pranbir.

Aryan:”what happened to her?”

Shahana understood what was going on.

Shahana:”tell him, Prachi. Tell him how much you love him… stop hurting yourself.”

Aryan:”Shahana, we should let them talk. They got a lot to say to each other.”

Shahana nodded and they left.

Ranbir let Prachi calm down and brought her outside near the beach, hidden from everyone. They sat on the sand.

Ranbir:”now, you are going to tell me everything.”

Prachi, teary eyed:”S..sorry. I didn’t know what…. what to do at that time….”

She explained everything to Ranbir. How Rhea said she will stop the wedding. That she had to make Ranbir hate her for that matter.

Prachi:”i am really sorry, Ranbir. Between us and maa, I chose maa. I watched her suffering for 20 years. Maa cried so much when she got to know about the wedding. I couldn’t bear it. I got the opportunity to reunite her with Papa, how could i be so selfish? When Rhea asked me, i thought i will tell you everything and you will understand. But she said that you had to hate me because she got to know that you were about to marry me in the temple. (she continued crying) I know i hurt you a lot. Whenever I hurt, i hated myself a little more. The sadness in your eyes broke me every time.

I am sorry, Ranbir, i am very bad… you love me so much and i did all of this. I don’t deserve your forgiveness and you… You shouldn’t love me… i am very bad…. you don’t deserve a girl like me. You should have someone who will never hurt you like I did. You should hate me.”

Prachi bursted in tears. Ranbir hugged her. He stroked her hair to calm her down.

Ranbir:”I am not going to hate you for this, Prachi. I was going to do the same thing for my mum, I was going to break your heart. I understand why you did it.”

Prachi:”but you didn’t do it but I… i did it… i didn’t stop it…. and i hate myself for this.”

Ranbir:”shhhh… I didn’t do it because i got to know the truth. If i hadn’t, i would have done it. And i know that Mums come first, so i don’t blame you for anything. Whatever you did was to get your parents back. I don’t hate you Prachi… and i am not going to let you hate my Prachi…”

He kissed her forehead.

Prachi:”I am sorry for everything…. every word i said. Really sorry.”

Ranbir just hugged her.

Ranbir:”just know one thing now, Prachi… i am not going to let you go far away from me. No one will separate us.”

They stayed in each other’s arms for a long time. They separated only when Arhana came there.

Shahana, happily:”finally you told him… Now you are not going to cry yourself to sleep.” She wiped Prachi’s tears and hugged her.

Aryan also hugged Ranbir. Shahana already told him the truth.

Aryan:”guys, here everything is alright now we need to handle that Tanu. She is searching for you, Prachi.”

Pranbir nodded and they joined the party again.

Shahana and the boys left while Tanu signed Prachi to follow her.
