Scene 1

I never hurt my father to the point that he would never see my face, how can you live when your father doesn’t love you, you must have done some big sin that he doesn’t want to see your face even, if my father had done that with me then I would have died out of shame, she angrily leaves.

Ashok finds Bindusar talking behind a curtain, he recalls Kaurwaki’s words that his father doesn’t want to see his face and should die out of shame. Hemant comes there and says where were you? all are happy that you are marrying Devi, they have even brought dancers so enjoy it. Ashok angrily leaves from there.
Ashok hears Subhandu telling a soldier that Kaling’s princess Kaurwaki is smart to marry Chaitraj to save Kaling, she is very smart. Ashok is angry hearing that.
Ashok sits alone and is angry about Kaurwaki’s words. The dancer comes there and says I can take away your pain with love. Ashok strangles her and says I won’t spare you if you come near me again, I hate love. The dancer says you hate because you care and love, she smirks and leaves. Ashok recalls his moments with Kaurwaki and how Chaitraj announced his wedding with her. He hits a tree in anger. Kaurwaki is passing by and flowers fall on her from a tree. Otherside Ashok is shaking the tree in anger. He turns around and finds Kaurwaki there, he says aren’t you done that you are back to taunt me again? Kaurwaki says what I said.. Ashok says you have no right to talk about me and my father’s relationship. Do you want to taunt my mother too? say it. I know you are filled with filth. You are marrying an oldie to get wealth, you are selling yourself for money so you are shameless. You just want to be a queen that’s why you are selling yourself and might sell your daughters too later on. Kaurwaki shouts at him to stop it, I was feeling bad and wanted to apologize to you but you proved that nobody is more evil and shameless than you. She angrily leaves.
Scene 2
Kaurwaki’s chachi comes to her and asks about her decision. Kaurwaki says I have decided to marry Chaitraj, I will announce it after Devi’s wedding.
Devi comes to Dharma and asks if she is happy? Dharma says a lot, I am excited about Ashok and your marriage. Devi asks where is Ashok’s siblings? Dharma says his brother went to his granddad’s palace and his sister Anandi has arrived. Anandi comes there and hugs Devi, she says you are so pretty. Dharma hugs Anandi and tells Devi that she loves Ashok a lot. Anandi goes to meet with Ashok. Kaurwaki comes there and says I want to talk to you Devi. Devi introduces Kaurwaki to Dharma and says she is my best friend and Kaling’s princess. Dharma says she is very pretty. Devi tells Kaurwaki that she is Ashok’s mother. Kaurwaki is surprised. Dharma says I know my son looks cruel so I don’t look like his mother. He has gone on his father.
Ashok comes to meet Anandi. Anandi says you found a pretty wife so you must have forgotten me. Ashok hugs her and says that can never happen. Sushim sees them and tells Bhadrak that she is Ashok’s sister. Bhadrak eyes her and says she is pretty.
Helena brings gifts for Devi, Dayana says Devi brought good luck to Dharma, we have brought good clothes for Dharma as she is going to stay in the palace now so she shouldn’t be wearing these old and torn clothes. Helena tells her to stop teasing her. Dayana greets Kaurwaki and asks if its true that Kaling is poor now? Devi says I have brought gifts for you all. She calls her servants with gold jewellery for them, Dayana gets excited seeing all that. Devi says I have gifts for my mother Dharma too. She gifts her a lot of gold. Dharma says I don’t need all these. Dayana says Kaurwaki needs those. Devi says Kaurwaki has everything and more, also what’s mine is hers too. She takes Kaurwaki from there. Helena tells Dayana that Devi showed our standard to us, these gifts are a taunt to us.
Devi tells Kaurwaki that she arranged new clothes for her as you are my best friend.
Sushim tells Bhadrak that we might be enemies but our bigger enemy is the same and that’s Ashok who took away Devi. Ashok comes there and says you both are broken hearts so you should join hands to do something about me but I don’t think you can.. you both are brainless. He laughs at them and leaves. Bhadrak is angry.
Devi shows new clothes and jewellery to Kaurwaki but Kaurwaki tells her that she can’t let her marry an animal like Ashok, he is shameless and characterless. I have seen him with so many girls. He hates love and doesn’t love you, he is marrying you for a reason. He even killed his soldier. Devi says enough.. I won’t let you insult my husband. Kaurwaki says he insulted my friend Uma and killed her when she was pregnant with his baby. Devi says you are crossing a limit, you don’t know the truth. Kaurwaki says I am telling the truth. Devi says the truth is that your brother Bhadrak had an affair with Uma and she was carrying his baby, he might have killed her. Kaurwaki says what are you saying? Devi says I am telling the truth, I saw him with Uma. Kaurwaki says it might have been Ashok’s plot to fool you. Uma took Ashok’s name before dying. Ashok hates Kaling and Bhadrak so he might have framed him. Bhadrak can never do anything like that. Devi says you are blinded by Bhadrak, can’t you see what they are doing with you? You are my friend but if you say another word against Ashok then you can leave. We have a pooja today where Ashok’s parents will do pooja together, if you can be silent then you are welcome otherwise please don’t come. Kaurwaki looks on.
