Scene 1
Devi tells Kaurwaki that she has been fooling her and actually likes Ashok that’s why she is back. Kaurwaki says you are wrong, someone was being attacked so I had to save him, you should be thankful that I saved Bindusar and brought him back, I have no interest in Ashok and just waiting for Bindusar to wake up so he can clarify the truth.
Chanakya is checking Ashok and Kaurwaki’s kundlis, he is surprised seeing the results and says this is great, Bindusar has saved our future.
Bindusar wakes up and is fine. Dharma asks how is he? He says I am fine, I got to know that people are doubting about Kaurwaki’s intentions so I want to clarify that it was Kaurwaki who saved my life. Ashok insulted her and cheated to marry her, she had all the rights to leave and let me die there but she didn’t and showed bravery to save me. Ashok stands behind the curtain and hears all that. Bindusar says Kaurwaki went against her soldiers and her state to save me, Kaurwaki and Udit fought for me and gave me another life. I am so thankful that Kaurwaki became part of the family, she is a blessing for us. She gave me another life and I promise her that I will give her anything she wants. She asks Kaurwaki to demand anything from him. Dayana and Helena are stressed. Kaurwaki says I just want rights, the right that you should have given yourself. Dayana says what do you want? do you want wealth for Kaling? Kaurwaki says I want Bindusar to give rights back to Dharma and her kids as his family, I want him to bring Dharma back in the palace and give her all the rights as his wife. Bindusar says whenever I give opportunity to people, they always ask for themselves but this is the first time someone has asked for someone else. Kaurwaki says I am asking this for myself, if Dharma gets rights as a queen then I will be happy. I have been so guilty that Dharma had to go through so much insult and humiliation because of me. Bindusar asks what does she mean? Kaurwaki says the truth about my friend Uma’s death. The flashback shows how Roopa told Kaurwaki that she knew Uma as she was her friend. Kaurwaki told her that Ashok did so bad with Uma, he killed her. Roopa told her that she was wrong, Uma didn’t even know Ashok. Uma told me way back that she was in love with Bhadrak and had an affair with her. Kaurwaki didn’t believe her but Roopa told her that you saw what Bhadrak did with Anandi, when Uma was dying, she was trying to expose Bhadrak and Ashok was trying to save her. You know Bhadrak killed her because she was pregnant with his baby and she wanted to tell you that Ashok was trying to protect her but she died before she could tell you the truth. The flashback ends. Kaurwaki says I mistook Ashok’s role and did a mistake, Dharma lost her honour because of me. That’s why if I get her rights back then it means I have washed away my sin. Bindusar says you have surprised me today, we always thought Kaling was our enemy but today you have proven that you are an honest and intelligent girl. He tells Dharma that she couldn’t raise Ashok well but she is lucky to have Kaurwaki as her DIL. He announces that Dharma will be given her rights back as a queen from tonight. She can shift back to the palace with her kids from now on. Dharma cries and thanks him. She thanks Kaurwaki and Ashok is emotional seeing all that. Kaurwaki hugs Devi and says she should leave now. She blesses her for her married life. Kaurwaki hugs Dharma and says I should leave now. She goes away with Udit. Ashok looks on.
Scene 2
Chanakya calls Ashok and sends his man to get him.
Dharma thanks Kaurwaki and says please don’t go, please stay here as my daughter. Kaurwaki says I have to go, my life is in Kaling and not here, please let me go. Dharma nods and sadly leaves. Ashok comes there and says why are you in a hurry to leave? I have to talk to you. Kaurwaki says I didn’t do any favor on you, I did this for myself. Ashok says I want to talk to you. He drags her from there.
Ashok asks Kaurwaki that you say you hate me but you stood up for my mother’s right, cleared my name and proved my innocence. If I didn’t know you then I would think that you want good for me but I know you hate me. So why did you clear my name? Did you clear Dharma’s name to indebt me? Kaurwaki says I don’t care what you think. Ashok says I am not allowing you to go back. Kaurwaki says you can’t stop me. Ashok says you were a slave and would remain so because of your father now. He shows her father lying there in a dark room. Kaurwaki is shocked and says you kidnapped my father to keep me here? you have crossed all limits. You will see my wrath now, she takes a sword and tells his soldiers to let her take her father from here. Chanakya comes there so she is shocked seeing him.
The episode ends.
