Popular Bengali actor Krushal Ahuja is all set to make his Hindi TV debut with Rishton Ka Manjha

Krushal Ahuja who is a well-known name in Bengali TV shows is all set to make his Hindi TV debut with the upcoming show Rishton Ka Manjha. In an interview with BT, he talks about it and shares, “I’m a strong believer in the law of attraction and I’m delighted that things have worked out in my favor. In 2016, I came to Mumbai to be an actor in Hindi soaps, but things didn’t work out. I returned to Kolkata and tried my luck in Bengali TV and bagged good shows. But it was always a dream to be a part of Hindi TV shows and live in Mumbai and now it’s coming all true.”

When asked if the language can pose a challenge for him, Krushal shares, “I belong to Jharkhand, we used to live there when I was very young and after a few years, we shifted to Lucknow. When I turned nine, my family shifted to Kolkata. Working in a Hindi TV show won’t be a problem for me.”

Talking further about his big break, he says, “I am nervous about this new beginning, but I am not insecure. Though I am a known face in Bengali TV shows, I will be starting from scratch here. I believe in my craft and I know that the larger audience will accept me in Hindi television, too. I am not thinking about how things will be different from working for a regional show versus a national TV show because I want to focus on my character and performance.”

When asked about his character in the upcoming show, Krushal says, “My character Arjun has issues with his family because when he needed their support, they were not forthcoming, which resulted in relations getting sour. The show will be shot in Bengal itself.”

Krushal also talked about whether he will continue doing regional TV shows as well. “When I started acting, my plan was to be part of Hindi TV, so now that it’s happening, I would like to continue here. But if there’s a good story for a Bengali show, I don’t mind doing that, too,” he says.
