People are saying that this year the stage of Nach is cursed because it is giving injuries to the contestants one after the other. Salman Khan’s show Nach Baliye 9 is going through turmoil of it’s own as contestants are not just getting injured, they are getting so severely injured that they are leaving the show mid-way. Ex-couple Urvashi Dholakia and Anuj Sachdeva who also returned as wild cards suffered injuries
The reports of Pooja Banerjee’s injury are doing the rounds and when we got to to see a picture of hers from the hospital, we realized the severity of it all. Pooja lost her balance and fell in the front from above 10 feet from the ground. She landed on her hands. The impact was such that she hurt both her hands — the joint of her right wrist is fractured. She even sprained a ligament in her left leg. She will be in the hospital for around a week.
Pooja Banerjee and her husband Sandeep Sejwal made a wild card entry to the show but had to opt out owing to Pooja’s injuries. The makers are trying to shut out all the negative vibes from the sets now. They had performed a Quran reading earlier and will now be having a puja.
The contestants too are shaken up about the injuries and are taking extra precautions not to hurt themselves.
