Star Plus is following a new trend. The channel used to maintain good family dramas before and gave many remarkable shows to the viewers. With changing times, the channel is bringing more of finite shows. It still has some good shows at prime slots like DABH and YRKKH. The other slots are facing tough time to maintain TRPs. With many shows on the channel ending abruptly, the viewers do not get enough of their favorite show. The viewers start liking the show and loving actors and characters. Then the show is pulled off air. Recently, Manmarziyan was pulled off air in few months time. Though the show has done well online, it failed to get TRPs for the channel. The show got replaced by Sumit Sambhal Lega. The former show was much loved than the new entry on its place.
Similar way, Veera was a sweet family entertainer show. It got replaced by Mohi. IPKKND2 was replaced by Mere Angne Mein. The old shows were good and accepted by wide audience. Sudden changes in the show and abrupt endings are taking place. It is rumored that new show Badtameez Dil can get replaced by Kuch To Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan. The couple Meher-Abeer of Badtemeez Dil is also much loved and appreciated like Manmarziyan’s couples Arjun-Radhika and Samaira-Neil. The channel got some humor and youth centric shows for a while.
