PolesApart Episode 4: Beginning of a new Relation!

Hello everyone.. Thank you all for showering love.. I am very much glad that you are liking it!Here’s another episode.. hope you gonna like it too..

Vansh: “Okay you settle down, and meet us at dinning at sharp 8:00 p.m., we all eat together,, and we not entertain latecomers!” (funnily)

Riddhima: “Yes boss!”

After Vansh went out, Riddhima arranged the closet. She was thinking about Vansh, she was feeling an instant connection with him when all of a sudden: “Stop It Riddhi! He is married after all. Wait, is he really married? Obviously, he would be, he had a daughter what else you expect!” (thinking).

She then called her family. She informed them everything about the apartment and where she was staying right now, they were a bit worried but when she told about their welcome nature they(Riddhima’s Family) were relieved.

She went at dinning at the appropriate time, where she saw the whole family. Anupriya introduced her to them..

Anupriya: “Riddhima, meet Sia, my daughter. Meet Chanchal,Vansh’s Chachi & Rudra, Vansh’s Chachu.. And he is Aaryan, Vansh’s cousin.”

Riddhima nodded to everyone. (thinking): “Where’s his wife? Should I ask Aunty about her? Wait, no.. why I am getting into their personal life!huh!”She sighed.

They were quietly eating dinner. Riddhima was feeling strange. Everyone was silently eating their food, nobody was even talking to each other, nor any eye contact.

Riddhima(to herself): “Is this a family for real?”

Riddhima herself started talking but in vain, everyone was giving just short answers, she felt like this family didn’t know how to stay like family!

Anupriya: “So beta, you go with Vansh tomorrow itself for finding house.”

Riddhima: “Aunty, actually tomorrow I had my first day on hospital..”

Vansh: “Tomorrow it’s Sunday! Your HOD is going to cancel your meeting again”

Riddhima: “Again!How do you kn…?”

Riddhima’s phone rang, it was notification tone of message. She read the message. “Dr. Riddhima, your meeting with HOD is postponed to Monday due to some official issues. Sorry for inconvenience.”

Riddhima was awestruck: “Is this man omniscient?”(to herself)

Vansh: “I am Vansh RaiSinghania, and I know everything.”(he grinned)

Sia: “Okay! Okay! Calm down bhai. Riddhima what about playing a game tomorrow.. since it’s your holiday we can play, what’s say bhai?”

Vansh: “Hmm..”

Aaryan: “What about a basketball match?”

All agreed.

Vansh: “You agreed so easily? Did you know how to play?”

Riddhima(sarcastically): “No only you knows everything, else everyone around here is a dodger.”

Vansh(mockingly): “Someone is furious!”

Riddhima stared Vansh. Vansh smiled.

Later they went to their rooms.

At night, around 10:00 p.m.

Riva: “Papa.. read me this story.. papa”

Vansh was busy in his laptop..: “Beta, just 5 minutes..”

Riva went outside with her story book, when Riddhima noticed her.

Riddhima: “Riva, you not sleeping? It’s late”

Riva: “Papa is busy.. he always reads a story for me before I sleep.”(showing the book)

Riddhima(thinking): Should I ask her about her mother? No Riddhi..she’s a kid. And why are so much curious?

Riddhima(to Riva): “Okay, come here I will read you one.”

Riva: “What! Wao, thank you Dr ma”

She went to her room runningly.

At Vansh’s room-

Vansh: “Done! Now let’s listen sto.. Riva? Where had she gone”

She went outside and saw Anupriya peeping inside Riddhima’s room.

Vansh: “Mom, what are..”

Anupriya: “Shhh”

She pointed towards Riddhima who was reading a story to Riva, both were enjoying a lot. Riva’s head was on Riddhima’s lap.

Anupriya: “I have never seen Riva so much happy.. look yourself, I have always told you that a girl always needs motherly affection, you see yourself!”

Vansh: “Not now, Mom”

But he himself was adoring the duo.. he could find peace,solace and happiness on his daughter’s face which he had not seen for years.It was looking like a new relation was beginning between the duo. Both Anupriya and Vansh were enjoying peeping at them when suddenly Vansh dropped a pot and both of them(Riddhima and Riva) looked at Vansh.

Vansh never wanted to disturb this perfect story telling night but because of his mistake it was sploit , he was guilt stricken.

Riddhima: “Mr RaiSinghania, Riva wanted to listen..”

Vansh: “Vansh! You can call me Vansh”

His sudden reply startled everyone especially Anupriya. Anupriya knows his son (thinking): “He never wants outsiders to call him with his name, even his best friend calls him VR.”

Riddhima: “Okay, Vansh.”

Riva: “Good night, Dr Ma.”

She kissed Riddhima, and the latter reciprocated it. Riva went to Vansh.

Vansh: “Ah.. Dr..”

Riddhima: “You can also call me Riddhima”(smiling)

Vansh: “So Riddhima, get ready for tomorrow’s basketball match .”

Riddhima: “Yup!”
