Chapter 5

CHAPTER 6:

“Ting tong….” i pressed the doorbell for the third time. I was waiting for Anika at her doorstep. This building of hers was much better than the previous one she lived in. I pressed the doorbell again but there was no answer from the other side. Today we were supposed to go out and i had fully prepared about telling anika how i felt but nothing seemed to work out.
“Who are you…?” a girl asked me.

I looked at her. She was wearing a blue pyjama and a white skinny top. She looked at me with her questioning eyes, while i just kept staring at her sensing that i have seen her somewhere.
“Hello who are you…?” she repeated the question a bit loud.
“Won’t you welcome your guest inside??” i just asked her.
“Come in…!” and she led the way towards the living room
“So….You’re Mr. Sharma’s grandson right….Wait dadi has gone out she will be back by the evening.
“Noo…I’m not Mr. Sharma’s grandson…” i replied.
She rubbed her eyes and then exclaimed “Ohh..! I’m so sorry you are that newly appointed nutrionist right…!. Wait here are her reports.”
“No…I’m not a nutrionist”
“Then?”
“I’m Shivay Singh Oberoi” i said extending my hand towards the girl in her early twenties who now was staring at me wide-eyed.

“You said you were an Oberoi…” she emphasised on my surname.
“Yeah i am…!”
Her eyes suddenly shot up with anger and glared at me.
“Who are you to Omkara..?” her voice sensed anger and a bit of hatred.
Hey how does she know Om…!!!!
“Who is Omkara to you….?” she questioned this time a bit more loudly with more anger in it.
“He is my brother”
“So since i did not reply to his messages he has sent you here to talk with me and come to an understanding. What did your brother say…?.”
I stared at her unknown about what is happening between these two and unknown about the situation. I expected her to give me a chance to speak, but kept on continuing
“I know what he would have said ‘sorry gauri we are not fit to be together and I’m not ready to get committed in a relationship and we are not meant to be together. It’s better if we break up.’”
“Break up..!!” shock and surprise has made me stand numb.

Sorry for not updating and disappearing. I had a serious writers block issue and somehow came up with this.Thank you for supporting and having such a hell a lot patience.Once again a big sorry and a thanks.I think i have dissapointed you people as an writer.
