The Episode starts with the court proceedings. Mr. Bhatt calls Aai to the witness stand to share Rani and Dhwani’s story. Rani reassures Aai to speak the truth. When asked how she knows them, Aai says she helped Rani out of humanity. She recounts meeting Rani at a temple on a rainy night, where Rani gave birth with the help of some women under Aai’s guidance.
Mr. Bhatt accuses Rani of being an irresponsible mother. Aai strongly disagrees. He then submits a report showing Rani once attempted to terminate the pregnancy. When Rani tries to respond, her lawyer stops her, saying he’ll address it later.
Rani’s lawyer calls her to the stand. He asks why she left her studies, and she explains she handled a delivery case in her first year. The lawyer presents her as a capable and responsible medical student—fit to raise her child. He defends traditional birth helpers (aayas) and accuses Mr. Bhatt of unfairly targeting Rani.
When Mr. Bhatt asks how she managed financially in Mumbai, Rani says she sold her father’s gold, worked as a delivery agent, and joined a nursing course. She insists her daughter studies because of her efforts, not anyone else’s. She even asks if Anisha pays her own children’s fees.
Mr. Bhatt, irked, claims his kids study through his earnings. He then calls Digvijay to testify about his financial status and demands custody of Dhwani so she can have a “better life.” But Dhwani tells the court she wants to stay with her mother, not the “doctor uncle.” Rani’s lawyer reinforces that Dhwani should remain with Rani.
Mr. Bhatt calls daycare teacher Pooja Patel, revealing she hid Rani and Dhwani’s truth on Rani’s request. Though Anisha seems reluctant, Mr. Bhatt keeps pushing for victory. He claims Digvijay never knew Dhwani was his child and accuses Rani of hiding the truth.
He then presents a report saying Dhwani has an eye condition. Rani’s lawyer counters that she’s already scheduled surgery at a top eye camp. The judge calls Dhwani to speak. Rani encourages her, while Mr. Bhatt tries to discredit Rani again—but the judge warns him to stop.
Dhwani tells the judge she wants to stay with her mother, who loves and cares for her deeply. She says Rani is not just her mom but also like a father. Moved by her words, the judge says Dhwani cannot be separated from Rani. However, she orders that Dhwani must stay with both Rani and Digvijay for now. The final decision will be made after Dhwani’s recovery. Anisha is left stunned.
