The episode begins with Rani getting ready for the reception when Digvijay arrives with a bouquet to apologize to her. Curious, Rani asks why he is gifting her a chocolate bouquet. Digvijay responds that he wants to apologize indirectly and insists that she accept the bouquet without asking any questions. Understanding his emotions, Rani tells Digvijay that she is aware of his pain. Alisha is on her way to Gandhi Kunj. Rani continues, saying she knows about Digvijay’s past love stories and his breakup. At the same time, Alisha, who hasn’t seen Digvijay in a long time, is looking forward to meeting him again. She hopes to rekindle their friendship, believing it will be beneficial for the hospital.

At the reception, Narayani introduces a guest to Devu. The guest meets Digvijay and praises him, then suggests that Narayani start looking for a suitable girl for him. The guest even proposes a potential match, which irritates Digvijay. However, his anger subsides when he catches sight of Rani. The guest then asks Narayani whether Digvijay would consider a love marriage, but Narayani firmly declares that she will choose his bride. She further asserts that she will never allow a “cheap” girl to be associated with her son.
Amidst the celebrations, Rani’s bhabhi surprises her with an unannounced visit. Rani, taken aback, asks why they came unexpectedly. Her bhabhi explains that since her brother’s vehicle was traveling empty, they decided to come for the reception.
Suddenly, the lights go out, and when they turn back on, Alisha makes a dramatic entrance, dancing in the middle of the gathering. Everyone is left stunned by her unexpected arrival. When the lights fully return, Digvijay’s expression hardens as he sees Alisha. Furious, he demands to know what she is doing there. Alisha calmly replies that she has come to attend Ishaan’s wedding, as she had promised him.
Alisha greets the family, congratulates Ishaan and Devu, and even gifts Devu a ring, stating that she is a close friend of Ishaan. As Rani observes this interaction, she realizes that Alisha is the same girl who broke Digvijay’s heart. Alisha then tries to get closer to Digvijay, but he firmly pushes her away. As the situation escalates, family members intervene to calm Digvijay down, while Alisha begins lecturing him.
She insists that she only came to meet Ishaan, but Digvijay retorts that she has no ties to his family anymore. Alisha urges him to let go of the past and move forward, but Digvijay refuses to listen. Narayani attempts to de-escalate the conversation. Meanwhile, Neha whispers to Rani’s bhabhi, revealing that Alisha is Digvijay’s ex, which makes Rani feel even more sympathetic toward him.
Alisha reassures Narayani that she has only come to attend the function, but Digvijay declares that he will not participate in any celebration until Alisha leaves. Consumed by his emotions, he storms off, locking himself in his room.
Once inside, Digvijay unleashes his pent-up pain, throwing objects in frustration. Memories of Alisha’s betrayal continue to haunt him, and he eventually retrieves a bottle of wine from his cupboard, drowning himself in alcohol. As his emotions spiral out of control, Digvijay angrily questions why Alisha has returned when he had finally moved on. In his turmoil, he sets fire to his belongings.
Rani rushes into the room and quickly tries to extinguish the flames with a blanket. As she looks at Digvijay, she sees the deep pain in his eyes and urges him to open up about his feelings. However, Digvijay, still consumed by his anger and sorrow, pushes her away. That’s when Rani notices his feet bleeding from broken glass. Without hesitation, she kneels down and carefully pulls out the glass shards.
She then gently encourages Digvijay to get up, but overwhelmed by emotion, he breaks down in tears. Rani wipes away his tears, softly urging him to share his pain. Offering him support, she helps him to his feet. Digvijay, struggling to process everything, questions why Rani is showing him sympathy. Before he can react, he loses his balance and falls into Rani’s arms. Their eyes lock, and in that intense moment, Digvijay finds solace in Rani’s presence. She makes him feel at ease, and in an unexpected turn, Digvijay kisses Rani.
