The Episode starts with Madhuri confiding in Dhananjay about her heartbreak—she feels left out as the other daughters-in-law are becoming mothers, while she couldn’t experience motherhood. Dhananjay, too, shares her pain, admitting he feels helpless. He comforts Madhuri by reminding her how lovingly she’s raised Laksh, even more than Pinky, and that she’s like a mother to Dhwani. He assures her that soon she’ll be caring for Devu’s child as well and urges her to leave it all to Kanhaji.
Rani overhears them and shares her concern with Digvijay, requesting him to consult a doctor for Madhuri and Dhananjay. Later, Digvijay and Rani leave for the jewellery shop in a car—unaware that its brakes have failed. Anisha follows them closely.
Meanwhile, Narayani prepares kada and checks the haldi ceremony arrangements. Ishaan shows a news update to Devu: Anisha has escaped from jail. Shocked, they try to contact Rani and Digvijay, but Digvijay’s phone is unreachable. Growing anxious, Devu decides to alert the family. Anisha, on the other hand, is plotting Rani’s death.
While driving, Digvijay light-heartedly asks Rani how it feels to become “Mrs. Gandhi” again. Rani teases him for not proposing yet. Suddenly, Digvijay realizes the brakes have failed. He tells Rani to hold tight as he pulls the handbrake. At the same time, Ishaan calls to inform him about Anisha’s escape, but Digvijay already knows. He pleads with Ishaan not to tell anyone in the family yet. He reveals Anisha tried to kill them and wants to keep it quiet for now.
Rani suspects that Anisha found out about their wedding through the planner or her aide. She believes someone like Naina or her associate is helping Anisha. Meanwhile, Anisha calls her men to clear out Naina’s office—determined to keep her plans hidden.
