Phir Bhi Tumko Chahunga (Shot 11-Second Half)

Sonakshi’s happiness knew no bounds. Her mind had finally resonated with her heart. Her life was all painted with a new shade – the shade of LOVE.

Rang rahi hoon
Yeh kaise rang mein
Main nahi hoon
Khud apne hi bas mein
Kuch rang pyar ke aise bhi
Kuch rang pyar ke aise bhi

She was jumping and dancing with her favourite teddy “Juno” when her mom entered her room.

Asha: Sona! Yeh kya kar rahi hai?

Sonakshi’s face turned red with embarrassment. She had never hidden anything from her mother. Asha had always known her daughter’s life inside out coz Sonakshi shared everything with her. But this time she wanted to treasure this feeling all within herself. She wanted to cherish every bit of it. She had decided not to share this with anyone. Not even Dev. She knew both of them had a goal in their life and being in a relationship was not at all their priority at this point in time.

“I will tell him and everyone else,” she thought,”but only when its the right time. Only when we’re both settled in our careers. For now, its better to keep of all to myself.”

Sona: Kuch nahi Maa…aaj sab Kuch acche se ho gaya na….isliye main bahut khush hoon. Sabhi teachers and even principal sir keh rahe the ki is baar ka teacher’s day best tha.

Asha: Woh toh hona hi tha. Aakhir captains ne itni mehnat jo ki thi.

Sona: And not to forget….Jatin ne bhi bahut mehnat ki thi….uske bina it wouldn’t have been possible.

Asha: That’s true! The three of you deserve all the praise.

Sona: Thank you! Your highness!

Asha: Acha chalo….aaj padhai nahi karni kya?

Sona: Nahi ma…aaj bilkul man nahi hai….kal subah jaldi uth ke padh loongi…don’t worry.

Asha: Toh phir abhi kya? Movie??

Sona(chuckles): Yes!!!

Asha: Pata tha….kaun si?

Sona: Jab We Met!!

Asha: Theek hai main DVD dhoondhti hoon tum tab tak golu ko bula laao….train waala part uska favourite hai na!

Sona: Cool! Main abhi aati hoon.

So the day ended on a happy note for Sonakshi. Next morning she woke up at 4:00 as she had to study, compensating for the time she had wasted yesterday. She studied for two hours, took a break and sneaked into her phone. Dev was online. She wished him a “Good Morning” and his reply popped up!

“Good morning Cappie?”

“So……kal raat ka target complete ho gya tha?”

“Kahaan yaar….143 pe hi so gaya….phir subah jaldi uthna pada complete karne ke liye.”

“Oh! Toh aap bhi padh rahe the! Maine toh kal saara time Golu ke saath movie dekhne mein waste kar diya…..isliye aaj subah jaldi uth ke padh rahi thi.”

“Golu ke saath kaun si movie dekh rahi thi?? Khilona bana khalnayak??”

“Hahaha very funny?…..Jab we met dekh rahi thi!”

“Hey I like that movie!”

“Its one of my favourites! Shahid is such a darling in it….aajkal kaha aise ladke milte hai?”

“Oh Hello Madam! Acche ladko ki kami nahi hai duniya mein. There are guys better that Shahid Kapoor.”

“I’m not talking about him. I’m talking about the character….Aditya Kashyap. He’s just perfect. A guy every girl would want in her life. Their cute little love story is just simply perfect.”

“Itni bhi kuch khaas nahi hai theek hai? There are better love stories. The one with Shahrukh-Madhuri-Akshay for example.”

“You mean Dil Toh Pagal Hai?”

“Yup!”

“I agree…..that’s another one of my favourites!”

“Ahaan….now you’re copying me?”

“Why would I do that? Can’t two people have common favourite movies? And don’t you remember, Jatin had once said ki humari choices bahut milti hain!”

“Well choices kitni milti hai yeh pata karne ka toh ek hi tareeka hai.”

“Kya?”

“Woh school se wapas aane ke baad bataunga….abhi late ho raha hai….OK?”

“Ya OK”

“Time – 2:30pm. Venue – What’s App.”

“Done?”
