Pehredaar Piya Ki- 12 years later (episode 6)

The doctor arrived shortly. Ratan was freaked out he didn’t know what to do. His hands were still covered in Diya’s blood. As he was waiting outside the room while the doctors were taking the bullet out of her hand.

Kaki saa was sobbing, shivani bai saa was comforting her. Sajjan Singh was also very worried. Diya’s bhai was consoling her bhabhi. The kids were very confused. But no one noticed Kristina Martinez was present there.

Just then a doctor came out, Ratan rushed to him,

“What happened doctor? How is Diya now? Is she going to be okay?” Ratan asked worriedly.

“No, she’s not. Her condition is critical. Actually bullet ki position ki vajah se use nikal pana Is very difficult, it will need a complicated surgery…”

“Aapko jo surgery karni hai woh kariye dr. par Diya ko kuch nahi hona chahiye.” Ratan said.

“Sir, I understand but this surgery’s success rates are very low.
Only 20% to be precise. ”

” I don’t know about all that but agar ek bhi percent chance hein, toh woh chance hum lenge…. hamare dost hein jo bhi ek surgeon hein
his name is Dr Aarav Nanda woh bhi yaha pahochne hi waale honge. You can have whatever you want Dr. par “hamari” Diya ko kuch nahi hona chahiye.” Ratan almost threatened him.

“We will try our best sir.”

Doctor says and goes back to the room.

Just then Aarav comes running. He hugs Ratan and consoles him, wears his apron and goes into the room. He comes out after some time..

“Ratty, I won’t lie to you but Diya bhabhi’s condition is very critical. We will have to perform the surgery that Dr Kothari just suggested to you. But, I don’t want you to have any false expectations, there is a big chance that her nervous system gets damaged during the surgery. I am so sorry bhai. I’ll try my best.” Aarav hugs him.

” I trust you, Aarav. ”
Ratan said as Aarav goes back in the room.

Ratan prays to god in his mind. “God, please save Diya. I promise I will never hurt her. I accept her as my wife, because now I know, I am nothing without her. Please don’t let anything happen to her. If anything happens to her, I won’t be able to forgive myself ever…..
please god, aapne hamse hamare maa papa cheen liye, lekin Diya ko hamare saath rehne dijiye…please god…”

Tears are flowing through his eyes as he remembers the incident again. It all seemed blur to him.

” Fufa saa, kya hua bua saa ko, woh thik to hojaegi naa?” Piyansh asked him tugging his shirt.

Ratan suddenly shook into his senses and replied to him…
” Kuch nahi hoga banna aapki bua saa ko…woh toh fighter hain. Unhe bhala kya ho sakta hain? Woh kitni strong hain, kuch nahi hoga unhe banna…kuch bhi nahi……….” As he hugs the both of them as if he was consoling himself…………………….
