Pehredaar Piya Ki- 12 years later (episode 11) Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya

The journey to Ajmer seemed like it passed away too soon…
They got to know a lot about each other, though Ratan seemed to be very concerned about Diya. And Aarav!!! How can we even forget him, he was simply blabbering the whole way, thank god it was just 3 hours, Ratan thought.

“God, I wonder how does he stay silent in an operation?”

And finally, there it was….
The place that housed his entire childhood, his school and one of the bestest boarding schools of india, the MAYO college……
It was a beautiful school which had beauty just all over. There was this front gate built in the British era and this beautiful royal building that he still cherished in his mind.

He got out of the car and then got Diya out very carefully…..
Aarav was still talking, and soon realised and came out.
Ratan, Diya and Aarav were just walking inside when they saw this beautiful girl talking on the phone. Ratan and Aarav started talking to each other in their ears.

“Arrey ratty, yeh to wahi hain na, girls school ki sabse beautiful ladki , jo badminton khelti thi, kya naam tha? Tia?”

“Arrey haan, yeh toh wahi hain….” Ratan replied.

Aarav chirps in “Kuch zyada hi khoobsurat nahi ho gayi?”

Diya notices what is happening and makes coughing noises…

“Yaar, kya kar rahe hain aap? Aapka toh thik hain, but abhi hum mar jate…..” Ratan reprimands him.

They reach the main ground, the venue for today. They meet each other, socialise and everyone has just one thing to ask…about his marriage story and that he was too young to get married and this sort of stuff…..

Ratan is tired of telling everyone one and the same thing, so he thinks of something special. He goes onto the stage, and meets his headmaster who was on the dias. He then grabs a mic and says,

“Excuse me, may I get your attention please?
Guys, everyone is asking me one and the same question. How did I get married to Diya? And what do I feel about it…. so I guess I’m going to answer it from here…….

I was 9 when my parents died in an accident framed by my own uncle.
My own family turned against me, to save me from this situation, my father got me married to her, she saved me countless times, and she made me what I am today. I have totally no regrets getting married to her….she is the best I could have ever asked for……

Diya, i just want to say one thing to you, I love you! And I always will…..to the end of my life. I’m so sorry you had to go through all these hardships…..but trust me I’ll make your life worth those hardships. Thank you Diya, for always being there for me. Thank you so much…..”

Ratan finished his speech, and there was a huge round of applause. All eyes turned to Diya whose eyes where filled with tears…all she could say was, “I love you too…” and they hugged.

SOON, there were games, archery, polo etc….
Archery was obviously dominated by Ratan. And they started a match of polo.

Diya too had played polo in her school time and had great interest in the sport….Ratan was playing on no. 2 and as good as always. Their team won the match against Aarav’s team…..

Just as they were celebrating, Ratan’s phone rang.
He picked it up….it was yash banna.

“Ji banna kahiye…….”

“Ratan kakusaa, that attacker has been caught, come back ASAP….”

“Okay, I’m coming….”CALL ENDS.

Ratan calls Aarav and Diya…..
“Chaliye we need to go back asap…”

Aarav, “But ratty abhi toh treasure hunt bhi baaki hain, let’s play and then go….please naa”

Ratan says sternly, “Aarav…..”

“Ok, let’s go……” he says gloomily.
