Payal Rohatgi and Sangram Singh spill beans on their love life and marriage

Payal Rohatgi and Sangram Singh who are all set to tie the knot on July 9 talked about their love life and marriage during an interview with ETimes TV. The couple talked openly about love, physical attraction, desire, and marriage.

When asked about the first thing that attracted them to each other, Payal said, “I got attracted to him in ‘Survivors’. I didn’t hide that. We were sleeping next to each other in the sand. The attraction became a bond and I used to hold him and sleep. I don’t get proper sleep if he’s not next to me.”

Sangram also added and shared, “When I first met her on the Agra-Mathura highway, I wasn’t attracted. Those were the days when hum ladkiyon se door bhaagte the. Plus, I hadn’t seen her clearly; she kept sitting in the car. But yes, I liked her in ‘Survivors’. Saari ladkiyaan mujhpe line maarti thi.”

Sangram also said, “I was looking for a genuine person. I felt Payal was the only genuine person out there. Dhere dhere Payal ne mujhe phasa diya.”

When asked if Sangram is romantic, Payal quipped, “He is zero romantic. But he gives me the criterion I was looking for in a man, that is, stability. When he’s in the house, I sleep quickly and soundly.”

Upon being asked if there is any parental objection, Sangram said, “I think my family wanted me to marry a simple gaon ki ladki.” Payal also added to the conversation and said, “I have never felt that way. His sister has loved me the way I am. Lekin haan ek baat hai. His mother could not accept that Sangram works at home, bartan uthata hai, chai banata hai. Apart from that, she’s fond of me.”

When asked if Sangram can cook, Payal replied, “He won’t cook, not even tea or coffee. I have seen many couples doing that for each other. Thodi improvement hai. Pehle toh bag bhi nahin pakad ta tha even if I had too much luggage at the airport.”

Sangram said, “If you have to walk longish distances, why should one wear a 5-inch heel.”

Upon being asked about their honeymoon plans, Sangram said, “Yeh sab chonchle hote hain.” But when Payal gave her a look Sangram agreed and said, “Okay, we’ll go to Srinagar for 3 to 4 days.”
Payal didn’t agree with him and said, “Not 3 or 4, but at least 8.”
