Pavitra Punia talks about her role in Naagmani after the 5-year leap; says, “I will play a 25-year-old girl”
Pavitra Punia, who is currently essaying the role of Mohini in the TV show Naagmani, will have a complete role reversal post the 5-year leap. The actress will now essay the role of a 25-year-old girl in the show.
Pavitra talked about it in an interview and said, “I will become much younger in the show after the 5-year leap. I will play a 25-year-old young girl, who is going to get married to Karam Rajpal’s character. I can’t divulge more about the story but I am happy. Generally, after the leap, actors have to age on screen but in my show, I will become younger. It is a blessing for me.”
She added, “I have always enjoyed playing negative roles because they have many shades and the actor has many things to do. It is challenging in this show to play a witch before the leap and now a young girl wanting to get married.”
The TV show Naagmani features Aditya Redij in the lead role. But after the leap, Karam Rajpal will essay the lead role.
