Jugnu is reluctant to take shower so Pranati throws a jug filled with water on her. The same thing happens when it is time to go to school. Both Reyansh and Jugnu complain but Pranati tells them to stay quiet. Reyansh recognizes the girl on duty. He sends Pranati inside the Principal room and stays back to speak to the girl.
Principal is hesitant as it is mid-term. Pranati requests her. Principal offers to ask her a few question to decide if she is eligible for an admission or not. Jugnu recalls Dadi’s words. Reyansh walks in during the session. Both Jugnu and Reyansh give lame answers. Principal advises Pranati to try home schooling for Reyansh and Jugnu till the new session starts.
Dadi is happy thinking that Pranati wont be able to get Jugnu’s admitted in the school. She tells Kesar to keep the sweets for later. Pranati enters and tells Dadi Jugnu got admitted in school. Flashback shows Pranati requesting Principal to give Jugnu a chance through Sports quota. Principal agrees to give her a chance. They are outside. Pranati uses reverse psychology on Jugnu. Flashback ends.
Pranati says we have a month’s time to prove to Principal that she deserves to go to that school. Your father will teach you maths from today. She goes to bring snacks. Dadi taunts Reyansh for choosing a girl like Pranati.
Pranati notices Anisha taking her food upstairs. Have it with us. Anisha says no one eats together. Pranati is pleased to see Kesar making nutritious food for Jugnu upon her instructions. Kesar tells Pranati that she reminded her of Reyansh’s mother. She used to pacify Reyansh in a similar manner just to make sure he will eat. She goes quiet mid sentence.
Pranati brings boring food initially but Jugnu refuses to eat it. Reyansh says she is boring so she will make boring food only. Reyansh, Maan, Armaan and Jugnu gorge on it. Pranati pulls Jugnu’s cheek cutely. Jugnu asks Reyansh if his mother was also boring and Hitler type like Pranati. Reyansh excuses himself.
Reyansh is standing in a corner looking hurt. Pranati says I know you don’t want to hear anything about her. He does not let her talk. You know the real pain when your loved one leaves you. She says it is you who are saying this. I faced something similar. He points out that a stranger broke her heart. Real pain is when a loved one does that. Don’t love her so much. It will make her weak too. Pranati calls it escapism. This is the right time to show her what love, emotions and compassion is. I will teach my daughter everything. He tells her to keep trying. You will realise the meaning of real pain when Jugnu’s heart will also break. He leaves. Pranati is curious about Reyansh’s mother.
Next morning, Pranati is looking for Jugnu as it is time for school.
Reyansh, Maan and Armaan return from their party just then. Reyansh collides with Pranati. Your day cannot start without seeing my face. She talks to him in his style. He wants to sleep but she tells him to get ready to drop Jugnu to school. He says I used to hide too when I was a kid. She too must be hiding as she is like me after all. She tells him to think and figure out where she will be. He is drunk and wants to sleep but she gives him a warning. He goes to look for Jugnu.
Dadi jumps with a start as she hears someone snoring. She jumps back in shock as a hand tries to pull her from under the sofa. Reyansh and Pranati find her. Jugnu asks Dadi why she does not get her room cleaned. This room looks like a storeroom.
Pranati asks Jugnu to decide what she wants. You will realise my importance when the court will send you away from these luxuries. Jugnu calls her mother India. Record this dialogue. Pranati stares at her. Jugnu goes to get ready.
Dadi helps Jugnu get ready. She advises her to find a permanent solution if she wants to avoid going to school. People will only scare you if you get afraid. It is up to you as to what to do. Jugnu gets thinking.
Jugnu does not let Pranati keep stuff in her school bag. Reyansh is sleeping while standing next to his car. Pranati blows horn to wake him up. Reyansh warns her that she will be responsible if something happens while driving. Jugnu says the same thing about her going to school. Once they reach school, Pranati reprimands Reyansh on his bad driving. Jugnu is going inside. Pranati offers to accompany her but Jugnu reminds her she isn’t walking for the first time. Reyansh jokes that Pranati missed that moment. Pranati’s eyes well up. Reyansh tells Jugnu to have fun. Jugnu does high five from far and pats at her bag.
Reyansh asks Pranati if they can head home now. She denies. There is something where we have to go first. Lightning strikes. Reyansh opposes the idea but she insists. Pranati brings Reyansh to a bookstore. She picks a book about being a good mom whereas he finds a book about finding a nice mom. They both argue over their respective choices. He starts flirting with a random girl. Pranati regrets coming there with him.
Archit’s sister drags Archit to the same bookstore. You can find her all the things that you like. Archit rues that the one he likes has left her for forever. His sister refuses to let him go. Archit and Pranati notice each other. Archit takes a step towards her but she holds Reyansh’s hand instead. He notices Archit as well. Archit asks Pranati why she couldn’t even be a friend to him. Pranati says it is possible. I dint love you the way I loved Reyansh! Both Reyansh and Archit look up in surprise / shock.
Precap: Jugnu meets someone in the school who hands her a paper wheel. Later, the lady is seen keeping an eye on Jugnu and Reyansh.
