In police station, Laala offers lunch to HS. HS says he doesn’t want to have food. Laala insists and offers him cold water. HS says he is fasting and cannot have anything. Laala asks if he is also having karvachauth fast. HS asks why can’t men fast. Laala says he asked his fiance Geeta Kumari not to fast as he cannot control his hunger for long. HS says Babita is stubborn and even after having high fever, she is fasting. He calls Babita and asks how is she. She says she is fine and is checking Saroj’s suit. HS asks if she didn’t mingle with other women as Imarti used to celebrate karvachauth with women group. Babita says since its her second marriage, nobody speaks to her, so she called Saroj here. HS asks Laala to call women staff.
Minnie meets her friends.
HS calls women constables and asks who is fasting. Two constables raise hand one says she is not yet married. HS asks them to help him buy gift for his wife and reach his house in the evening to break fast with his wife. They nod okay. At home, Saroj checks Babita’s fever and offers her medicine, which she doesn’t take. Minnie returns home. Babita walks towards her and collapses. Minnie rushes to her. HS returns home and rushes to her seeing her unconscious. He asks Minnie to get water and feeds Babita. Babita wakes up and asks if moon is sighted. HS says without her permission, how can moon rise and gifting her a lovely dress asks her to wear it soon and get ready for pooja. Babita walks to her room with Saroj. Minnie says Saroj shouldn’t inform Babes that she is fed water already. They both knock door and ask Babita to come out. She asks them to wait for sometime and asks Saroj how is she looking. Saroj says beautiful. but she wants to tell her something. Babita says she will prepare thali and walks out. HS takes her away. Minnie takes Saroj aside and requests her not to inform Babita that HS already fed her water. Saroj says but.. Minnie requests not to.
Babita with other ladies performs karvachauth ritual and looking at moon and then HS’ face performs his aarti. HS is about to feed her water when Saroj informs Babita that HS already broke her fast. Babita stops HS and even denies to have food. Minnie confronts Saroj who says she cannot hide such a big mistake. She looks at Pinku who says he can’t help. HS says Babita’s help is most important for him. Babita says she wants his long life. Minnie says it is just a ritual and HS fed her water anyways. Babita thanks god. Minnie says HS is also fast for her and she shouldn’t make him wait much.
