Minnie hesitates to write Ashok’s name in her father place on college application form. Babita says it is a requirement. Minnie says she will not. Babita fills Ashok’s name and reminisces Ashok’s verbal abuse in court. They enter office and show application to officer who asks to get father’s consent form and bring her father. Minnie says she does not need her father’s permission. Officer says she should get her father’s signature as guardian. Minnie says her mother is her guardian. Officer says even then she should get her father’s signature on form. Minnie walks to Ashok’s house. Meeta asks if she needs anything. Minnie says she came to meet her husband. Meeta says Ashok is even her father. Ashok sees her limping and asks what happened.

Minnie shows college form. Ashok shouts she should have sent Babita, but why would arrogant Babita come, she is taking up lame jobs and leaving them due to her super ego, she did not even accept alimony and how will she bear expenses. Minnie says it is called self-respect which he does not know. Ashok continues yelling that she needs his permission for everything and has his genes and she cannot deny the fact that she is his daughter and heir. He continues yelling while Minnie walks away.

Babita searches Minnie and tries to call her repeatedly. Preet sees her and asks what is she doing here. Babita says Minnie has gone somewhere during admission. Preet says she must have gone to get principal’s sign and asks her not to worry. Minnie returns and taking Babita in tells officer that her mother is her guardian and she does not need her father’s name as he does not stay with them anymore, so she is just Minnie and her mother is just Babita. Officer says she has Khurana as surname. Minnie asks new form and says she will change her name to Minnie.

Meeta confronts Ashok that he should not have been so rude to Minnie and should have given her consent letter. Ashok shouts did not she see how arrogant Minnie was. Meeta says Minne is a kid and she is going through such a hard time with her parents being divorced, she is just 17 now and children get mental breakdown in this situation. She gives him paper and asks to write a consent letter and personally give it to Minnie.

Babita and Minnie return home. Minnie continues pouring her heart out emotionally and says her addmission would not happen without father’s name. Babita says if she had informed, she would have gone to Ashok’s house. Minnie says she already did, but Ashok showed his superiority and was yelling at him instead of signing form, so she has decided to change her name and has already found on net it is possible. Ashok enters and knocks door.

Precap: Babita tells Ashok that Minnie will be called Minnie Babita and not Minnie Ashok Khurana from here and says Minnie let us go and change name. Dadaji fumes hearing that.
