Minnie eagerly waits for Neil and fumes when he doesn’t turn up. Neil is sound asleep when his house owner Sandu aunty wakes him up and scolds him that it is already afternoon and he is still sleeping. He says he is awake. She asks rent and will not accept any food as bribe. Neil prepares omlette and serves her. She likes it and asks why did he leave job. He says he didn’t owner’s arrogance. Sandhu aunty scolds him and leaves warning to pay rent soon. He sees NB’s messages and missed calls and replies that he is on the way. Sandhu aunty meets Kammo and complains about Neil. Kammo convinces her and takes her to parlor. Neil takes his shirt for ironing and sees Arya returning from school. Ironman asks Neil to pay 5 rs, but Neil pays 3 rs. Arya pays a marble to ironman. Ironman asks to give real money. Neil takes marble and gives him 10 rs, thinks this marble may be his lucky charm.

Neil attends interview. Minnie asks why didn’t he come on time. He says he was sleeping. She asks at 12:30. He says he does. She asks howmuch salary will he take. He says 50000 rs. She says it is too much for a rejected chef. He says excuse me. She says 20000 rs. He says 30000 rs. She says done. He asks he needs share in profit. She says 8%. He says 25%. She settles for 12% and he can start right now. Neil says she may have to lose lots of profit. She asks if he is so much confident, let us see.

Arya goes to play with locality kids. An arrogant kid Montu tries to bully her, but she warns nobody will play with him. She plays with kids, but Montu pushes her away and says she lost. Everyone backs him. Arya gets angry. Rani reminds her not to pay heed to bullies and to win game by her intelligence.

Neil takes over and warns colleagues to work professionally. He sees Simpy listening to music and cutting chicken and warns her to be careful, she agrees but then starts listening to music again and cuts chicken wrongly. Neil scolds her if she cannot work properly she can leave. Geeta and Khurshid oppose and say he cannot speak rudely. Neil says he is head chef and can even remove them. Geeta says it is also their restaurant and he cannot speak rudely to them. He says he can. Geeta looks at NB who says she doesn’t want to interfere and to obey head chef. Neil warns them again to leave if they cannot work properly. Minnie walks in asking what is happening. Neil explains.
