Minnie gets overexcited seeing HS’ friends entering for party and thinks Babes went overboard to celebrate her surprise birthday party. She selects dress for her and gets ready with makeup, then thinks if she overdoes makeup, Babes will scold her. She then sees everyone missing and thinks where did they go. In room, HS applies cold cloth on Babita’s forehead and asks why did she overstress herself. Babita says his friends would have felt bad else and complained about poor hospitality. HS says she should overstress herself and asks her to rest now. Minnie knocks door. HS walks out and pulls her away while Minnie insists to speak to Babita and scolds her for knocking door at 12 midnight and disturbing them. Minnie tries to speak, but HS sends her away saying Babita is having severe headache. Once clock ticks 12, disheartened Minnie wishes herself happy birthday with teary eyes and walks to her room. Mickey and Preet conference call her and wish her happy birthday. Minnie acts as happy. Preet understands her sadness and watches her silently. Minnie asks if she is jealous. Mickey says she is seeing her happiness. Preet asks why didn’t Babes call them for party. Minnie says Babes wanted to call them both and Bobby, but then HS suggested only family will celebrate now and then they will call Minnie’s friends. She hurriedly tries to disconnect call saying guests are waiting for her. Mickey asks her to come to balcony. Minnie asks if he came to wish her at this time. Preet says even she wanted to come, but she knows how her mother is.
Minnie walks out and meets Mickey. Mickey asks her to close her eyes. She asks what surprise is awaiting now. Mickey brings cake, Minnie gets emotional. Preet and Mickey sing happy birthday to you while Minnie cuts cake with teary eyes. Preet scolds her to stop crying and disconnects call. Mickey says this is her second cake cutting. Minnie says Babes prepared also rasgulla, chole bhature, etc, and sheds more tears. Mickey offers her kerchief.
Next morning, Laala brings milk and greets Babita. Babita says she will prepare tea for HS and he need not worry. Laala says he came to wish good luck to Minnie for her exam. Babita gets nervous that Minnie didn’t wake up yet and rushing to Minnie wakes her up and reminds her about her exam. Minnie gets sad realizing she still doesn’t remember her birthday. Babita asks what happened, Minnie nods nothing. Minnie then gets ready for exams and leaves without having breakfast, telling HS that she is getting late for exam and is carrying apple. Babita brings sweet curd for Minnie, and HS says she already left.
Minnie meets her grandparents who wish her happy birthday and ask if she celebrated her birthday with Babita well, they wanted to call and wish her at 12 but didn’t fearing Babita. Minnie says they should have called. Biji asks what special did Babita prepare for her birthday. Minnie says a table full of dishes. Dadaji gifts his special old pen and Biji asks what should she gift. Minnie says she can feed sweet curd. Biji feeds sweet curd and they both wish Minnie best of luck for her exam and see her off. Babita watches it from balcony and feels sad. Minnie asks what happened now. She says Minnie went without having sweet curd, something is bothering her for sure. Courier boy delivers Babita’s online parcel which Laala receives. Babita pancis realizing its Minnie’s birthday today. Laala asks how can she forget her daughter’s birthday. HS says good she remembered before birthday ended. Babita says she will call her. HS suggests not to as Minnie must be driving scooty, she call explain her when she returns home. Babita panics that Minnie must be disappointed that her mother forgot her birthday and asks if she came last night to talk to her. HS remembers Minnie last night insisting to meet Babita.
Precap: NB confronts Babita that she is getting away from Minnie who taught her to live with self-respect and pride, what is she doing.

I am feeling extremely bad for everyone.minnie babita and Hanuman. Minnie is feeling so lonely in that house. Babita is good mother but whatever she is doing is not enough for anyone ,she deserves all the happiness but she has to be with Minnie and Hanuman ,now she will blame Hanuman tomorrow but he was just taking care of babita, people can forget sometime but everyone thinks it’s just bcoz married please stop blaming babita for getting married,naymbee is the one alone instead of correcting or supporting she is always blaming everyone.why they have to babita has issues with daadaji and biji,their relationship was good,I wish they get their house back.why the write wants to show only min friends are good don’t what are they doing.
I think what Minnie’s doing regarding Mickey is wrong. But what babitha is doing cannot be justified. After marriage babitha is totally changed. And if she wants to advice Minnie she can do it in private she has all the right to it. But not before everybody. What Minnie told about hs and babitha relationship is true even hs himself admitted it. Their relationship started from friendship to love. So no need to slap Minnie. Nowadays babitha is very self centred and everything is about her and becoming selfish everyday and if something goes wrong she either blames Minnie or hs. If she can’t handle both being a mother and a wife she shouldn’t have married. Babitha even told that she married hs for Minnie only but that’s not the truth she started to fall in love with hs and wanted to marry him but used Minnie as a cover up. There’s nothing wrong in marrying for the second time but don’t use other people as cover up if you want to get married get married don’t use others as excuse. Even though Minnie’s is doing some wrong things like regarding Mickey. She was always with babitha from the beginning either good or bad. If not for Minnie babitha will not be here today in this state. Earlier babitha told hs that Minnie’s is her first priority and she is so important to her. what a great lie that’s why she forgot her only daughter’s birthday. Ok even if she had headache the next morning she should have remembered the moment she saw Minnie’s face no she didn’t remember. Later on after seeing some package she remembers. Wow so great she is I totally hate this babitha character very much irritating.
Lyn, I totally agree with what you said! Babitha is self -centered! Now I suppose HS will say she is 18 years old & is a grown up & Babitha shoudnt feel bad. Babitha will feel good that she didnt do wrong!

Don’t know what to say regarding this birthday forgetting drama…Better this serial ends as the characters are getting difficult to analyse and very confusing….for no reason or rhyme,HS doubted Minnie over the cd and since then ,he is no longer the same ,affectionate Hanuman uncle…Babita is all starry eyed nowadays and doesn’t even remember her girl’s birthday till that courier arrives…and Minni…well! all of a sudden the very brave and different daughter whose only priority was to see her mother happy ,is all weepy now …she started feeling bad and emotional like any other girl of her age….I wonder what is that that has brought such an unbelievable transformation in the psychology of the three main characters…with HS and Babita becoming a couple ,all the hell broke loose…post marriage ,all the three have become so self conscious and negative that it makes us wonder if they are the same beautiful characters that we fell in love with not long ago…of course change is natural and imminent to life but such a drastic one that alters the very face of the characters looks melodramatic and disappointing as well…nothing to look forward to in this serial ,at least for now..taking a break till the leap happens..hope the writers are not exhausted of all their inventiveness…
Very well said lakshmi. I feel just the same. Cant even muster up the energy to analyze the scenes or characters as everything feels too negative now.
Presently this show is going in a very negative direction & yes senseless too. It has started from the beginning when we saw, Minnie was arranging their suhagrat & honeymoon. It’s good to take care of her bebes but its over care now. Creative team should think carefully what they are doing with good material people take YUDKBH on hearts! But illogical idiotic terms are spoiling the table only.
Now I understand, babita’s life goal is to marry HS & Minnie is born to be granny for all, unfortunately she invested her time for a useless woman who even not understands her. HS police is most useless who sits on home and do dirty double standard politics, HS has all ugly words to say for Minnie & she is only a burden for them. Minnie is the one who is spoiling the beauty of their marriage. Micky is confused, to whom he loves!
Minnie is confused about her all relation, where all is going but he understand everyone & teach them. An idiot mother with extra wise daughter, choose to marry HS who is not less the 70s bindu.
