Surinder and family panic thinking Jassi must be in trouble. Kulvinder says he will file police complaint. Bebe says he should not. Surinder says nothing is imporant than Jassi and he should file police complaint.
Orphanage officers insist to show adoption papers. Darji tries to change topic. Officer says that means they are keeping a child since 16 years without adoption papers and it is a sin. Surinder says they mean papers are in safety locker. Officer says then they can bring papers tomorrow at their delhi office and walk out.
Jassi calls on landline. Surinder picks phone. Jassi says she had been to gurdwara. Surinder cries emotionally and asks her to come home soon. Call disconnects. She recalls and asks PCO owner where is her daughter. He says she left. Kulvinder goes to search her. Jogi also leaves.
Simran is busy playing word game with her family. She tells Raj that life is experienced once and she has to be with her friend during her tough times. Raj and Ria taunt her.
Jassi reaches home. Whole family hugs her and asks where she had been. She says she wanted to get out of her fear and prove Bebe that she is courageous now. Everyone get emotional and delivers their respective dialogues. Simran comes with Ria and asks Jassi if she is fine. Surinder says Jassi is fine and went to gurdwara alone. Ria jokes that family is so emotional as if Jassi won gold medal in running. Their talks continue and Surinder says she is happy that her whole family is together again.
At night, Kulvinder scolds Surinder for lying orphanage officers about adoption papers. She says she was nervous and did not find any other answer and says whatever the reason is, nobody can doubt their love for Jassi and doubt that she is adopted. Jogi passes by and is shocked to hear that.
