Actor, Parmeet Sethi, who has ample experience in playing Punjabi characters all set to make his Punjabi debut on TV. Parmeet is known for his role in films like ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, and ‘Bhangra Pa Le’. He has also acted in the acclaimed Punjabi film ‘Des Hoya Pardes’
Not just movies but Parmeet has tried his hand on the small screen as well with sitcoms like, ‘Jassi Jaisi Koi Nai’ , ‘Sujata’ and ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ among others.
Parmeet Sethi is all set to make his Punjabi debut on TV with Akhian Udeekdian. The show is based on a couple who has a huge age gap between them. In an interview with BT, Parmeet said, “I am very new to the clan (referring to Punjabi TV), however, the script looks quite promising and I am looking forward to the public response of me being in a Punjabi TV show.”
Along with Parmeet the star cast also includes Angad Hasija and Karan Mehra from the TV show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’
All three of them are Punjabi, Angad hails from Chandigarh while Karan has his roots in Jalandhar.
