A goon arrives at the hospital, asking the receptionist for Sushama’s room number. Meanwhile, Preet prays for Sushama’s recovery, confident she will survive. But when the diya suddenly blows out and the power goes off, Preet senses something is wrong. A goon sneaks into the room and stabs the figure lying in the bed—but Preet had already swapped the pillows and hidden Sushama elsewhere, anticipating the attack.
Believing his job is done, the goon informs his accomplice that the task is complete and that Neeti will pay them. However, the second goon runs into Preet and complains about the hospital and power cut, unaware she has used the blackout to protect Sushama. Realizing the danger isn’t over, Preet moves Sushama to another safe location, knowing the killer is still on the loose and she can’t trust anyone.
Disguised as Dr. Varma, the goon approaches Preet, claiming he needs to give Sushama an urgent injection or she won’t wake up in 24 hours. But Preet, recalling the nurse’s earlier statement that Sushama will regain consciousness in two hours, grows suspicious. She questions the goon’s credentials, pointing out that a real doctor wouldn’t complain about hospital issues.
Elsewhere, Neeti informs Nisha that the goon isn’t answering her calls. Gurinder reminds them he was on a mission to kill Sushama. Nisha panics, realizing that if Sushama dies, she will lose her chance to become the Kashyap family’s daughter-in-law. The women rush to stop the goon. In the meantime, Preet falls into the goon’s trap. Nisha lashes out at Neeti for her reckless move, but Neeti defends herself, claiming she had no idea about Nisha’s alliance and acted unknowingly. Gurinder urges them to stop fighting and focus on contacting the goon, but he ignores Neeti’s calls, frustrated by her constant nagging.
Back at the hospital, Simran calls Aditya to ask when he and Dadi will return. Aditya informs her that Sushama is in the hospital after an accident but is not seriously injured. Simran and Chachi immediately head to the city hospital. Meanwhile, Preet finds herself cornered in an isolated area, aware that no one will hear her cries. The goons threaten her, insisting she shouldn’t risk her life for an old woman. Just then, Aditya hears their voices and approaches.
The goons discover Preet and one of them draws a gun, but his accomplice warns that gunfire will alert others—he should use a knife instead. Preet pushes the goon and runs, screaming for help. She hides behind Aditya, who steps in to defend her. When the goon demands he hand her over, Aditya stands firm, delivering a strong warning in her defense.
