Parineet is missing Neeti. She would have understood how I am feeling if she was here today. This marriage wouldn’t have happened then. She thinks of her cousins speaking in favour of Rajeev earlier. I am thinking of what can never happen. She tells herself to stop thinking about Rajeev.
Rakesh’s friend recognizes Varun and clicks his photo stealthily. He isn’t looking good at all.
Mandeep decides to first confront Gurpreet instead of exposing her and Parineet to everyone. I will otherwise approach Veer ji. He can never even imagine that
Pundit ji asks to call the bride. Gurpreet goes to call her. mandeep follows her but collides with Gurinder on her way. Gurinder complains that her expensive dress got ruined. Parineet’s cousin take Gurinder to the washroom.
Rakesh
Monty praises Gurinder’s choice. I like Parineet too. I wish she was my Bhabhi and her father hadn’t rejected your alliance. Rajeev says it is good that this happened. Sadly, the girl I loved rejected me. Vikram overhears the end of the convo and says this is happening a lot these days. The girl I loved rejected me because she loved her dreams more than me. monty says it is good that at least the girls are different.
Varmala starts. Varun puts the garland around Parineet’s neck. Parineet stops as she looks at Rajeev. Everyone looks on curiously.
Jai shows the video to Rakesh. Her name is apt. She is looking like a Pari. She would have been mine today if it wasn’t for Neeti. Shera asks him to come. We have seen enough. Rakesh decides against it. He tells Shera and Jai to go ahead. I will go inside for 2 minutes. Shera denies. He receives MLA’s call just then and tells Rakesh they must go home now. MLA asks Shera to come home in 5 minutes. Shera requests Rakesh to sit in the car. Rakesh leaves reluctantly.
Gurinder says the clothes would have dried quickly if there was a hair dryer. Mandeep says that isn’t here but we have tissues. She thinks of Rajeev’s words and starts praising Varun. Gurinder thinks that this is what she was waiting for. See what I will do now! She starts praising Parineet and doesn’t speak well of Varun. I even told Veer ji that he should have selected someone like Rajeev. Mandeep asks her if she asked Jaswant about the rejection. Gurinder denies. It dint feel right. It is Waheguru’s wish. I liked Parineet a lot though. Mandeep says Veer ji doesn’t like the concept of love marriages. He wouldn’t spare the guy who would try to elope with a girl. Gurinder supports Jaswant’s thoughts. Mandeep thinks that Gurinder is also in this with Parineet and her mother.
Sukhwinder asks someone to find Neeti’s number asap. Parineet must speak to her. Mandeep asks her what happened. Sukhwinder says Parineet is unable to put varmala around Varun’s neck. Ashok ji (Varun’s father) might think that there is something wrong.
Ladies start gossiping about Parineet.
Sukhwinder says it is possible that Parineet must be missing Neeti. She was about to do it when! Mandeep asks her what happened.
Varun’s father asks Parineet to stop. Jaswant asks him what happened. Ashok says we know everything. I want to speak to you in private.
Mandeep says I know that Parineet dint stop because of Neeti. It is because of that guy! Sukhwinder asks her what she is saying. Mandeep goes to tell Jaswant everything. I will see how this wedding wont happen!
Rajeev feels bad for Parineet as the wedding is put to a halt. Monty says it is possible that the groom wasn’t right either of the times.
A lady asks Ashok if there is something wrong with Parineet. He denies. Mukhiya ji offers to go with them but Ashok and Jaswant politely decline the offer.
Beeji sends Parineet inside with Gurpreet.
Gurinder asks Rajeev what happened. Monty says the wedding has been called off. She feels guilty. I say anything in anger but I dint mean that! Rajeev tells her not to worry for any reason. They have just taken some time for something.
A guy asks Vikram for men to bring something inside. Rajeev offers to help. Monty is reluctant but Rajeev takes him outside. Mandeep is tensed seeing the situation. I must tell Harman ji everything now.
The room is locked. Gurpreet says Santosh must have done it as all the valuables are inside. She goes to bring the key.
Jaswant requests Ashok not to stop the wedding. The papers will reach you soon. Gurpreet has overheard it but walks away when they notice her.
Mandeep tries to talk to her husband but he tells her to let him go. The wedding has been put to halt. Mandeep asks him if he is really so innocent or if he is pretending to be like this in front of her. he asks her to let him go. I don’t have time to waste right now. Mandeep says the wedding has been paused as Ashok knows about Parineet’s affair now. He must have found out everything when Parineet dint put the varmala around Varun’s neck. He dint want things to get out of hand.
Parineet thinks to sit down.
Harman tells Mandeep he feels like slapping her but Gurpreet Bhabhi has taught him against it. Mandeep continues to spit venom against Parineet and Gurpreet. He warns her to be quiet. Ashok stopped this marriage as he hasn’t received what he wanted. He had asked for the property papers before the marriage. They got late because of me. This is why he has paused the wedding! She is shocked. Parineet has overheard it as well and is equally shocked. Harman goes.
Ashok asks Jaswant about the papers. Jaswant insists that it just got delayed. Don’t do this. Ashok refuses to wait anymore. We would have otherwise been stuck with your daughter! Harman tells him not to speak to Jaswant like this. Jaswant tells him to be polite. Mandeep tries to find out what’s going on. Varun’s mother tells the men to let her in. She is your family member after all. Gurpreet also comes there to know what’s going on. Jaswant gives the papers to Ashok. He reads it and asks Jaswant why Varun’s name isn’t in it. Jaswant says the time was less so we couldn’t get it done in time. We will get the papers updated soon. Let this wedding happen. Mandeep asks Jaswant what will happen to them now. Harman tells her to be quiet. We have thought of everything. Parineet looks on. She thinks of her father’s attachment to this house. It was built by his father after all and he had refused to see this house in the past. Ashok agrees to wait. He convinces his wife as well. Varun isn’t keen though. This should be done before marriage.
Precap: Varun’s parents calls off the marriage. They return the property papers. Jaswant begs them and even removes his turban. Parineet feels bad for her family and drinks phenyl in the bathroom. She passes out later. Rajeev holds Jaswant’s turban before it can touch the floor.
