Preet introduces herself to Neeti, only for Nisha to angrily accuse her of tormenting her for days, even gripping her hand harshly. Nisha vows not to let Preet off the hook. Preet calmly tells Neeti that she likely doesn’t know the full story and slapped her without asking what really happened. She reveals that Nisha, in a fit of anger, slapped a servant to teach Preet a lesson, showing a lack of manners. Preet urges Neeti to teach Nisha basic decency.
Neeti lashes out at Preet, insulting her background and upbringing, and claiming she’s jealous of their wealth. Preet responds with dignity, stating she’s older than Neeti—close to her mother’s age—and respects her for that reason alone. She adds that her mother, Sarada, taught her to respect elders, but she won’t tolerate insults to her roots.
Neeti warns Preet not to cross her daughter again, threatening to throw her out of the hotel. As the staff interrupts to escort Neeti to the award ceremony, she excuses herself. But her mind lingers on Preet—her face reminds her of Parineet, like a carbon copy. Yet, Preet mentioned her mother is Sarada, which throws Neeti into confusion. She wonders if she’s imagining things or if Preet could actually be Parineet’s daughter. But that seems impossible—she believes Parineet drowned and died.
Meanwhile, Preet warns Nisha not to forget her misbehavior and advises her like an elder sister. Nisha scoffs, claiming Preet is trying to create a connection only because her mother is wealthy and retorts that Preet can never be her sister—only a servant in her house. Preet replies that she doesn’t need a sister like her and only gave advice.
Later, Preet catches Aditya staring at a girl and accuses him of ogling. Aditya clarifies the girl is the daughter of his former servant, and he’s sponsoring her education. Preet misunderstands, but Aditya grabs her hand and pulls her away, leaving Nisha fuming.
Nisha, frustrated by their closeness, vents to her friend, claiming Preet is after her husband. She admits she had rejected Aditya’s proposal earlier without seeing his photo but now likes him—and wonders if he feels the same. Her friend suggests it’s easy to find out. Nisha walks away deep in thought.
Elsewhere, Aditya meets Sneha and asks why she’s at the hotel. She explains she had a day off and came to help her mom. He advises her to focus on studies. When Sneha asks if Preet is his bhabhi, Preet denies it. Aditya teases her, noting that if she called Preet bhabhi, she must see him as a brother. Sneha says she doesn’t want to be his wife. Their banter continues, lightening the mood.
Later, Sushama’s daughter-in-law attends the award function and is praised by many. Neeti sulks, noticing that no one from her family is present.
Aditya, trying to clear the air, asks Preet to apologize for misunderstanding him. Preet counters, asking if he enjoys saying “sorry” and “thank you.” He insists she made the mistake and should apologize first. She retorts that he didn’t thank her for saving him. Sneha quips that they argue like a married couple, prompting Preet to cover Aditya’s mouth playfully. He warns her and walks away.
Preet then asks Gaurav to take her to the award ceremony to meet Sushama. Meanwhile, Neeti calls Gurinder, asking her to attend the event. Toward the end, Vikrant approaches Nisha and apologizes for his behavior at the party, insisting he had no ill intentions. Nisha pushes him away and runs off.
