The doctor informs Preet that she is perfectly fine and advises Aditya to return home. As they cross paths, they accidentally bump into each other. Aditya sarcastically warns her not to collide with him again, calling it the last time. Preet curtly responds that she has no desire to see him either. Nisha escorts Aditya away. Meanwhile, Neeti excuses herself from Dr. Sharma to speak with a friend. During this, Parineet mistakenly hands Neeti’s report to Dr. Mehta. She heads to the receptionist’s desk, where Neeti is chatting with her friend. Preet arrives there as well, and Neeti catches a glimpse of Preet’s reflection and begins following her—unaware that Parineet is nearby.
Sarada calls Preet and asks her to return home. Preet promises to be back soon. Neeti continues searching for Parineet but gets distracted when she sees Aditya. She assumes he’s the one bribing people for votes, while Aditya mistakenly believes she’s the girl who stole his magazine cover. At the same time, Gurinder asks Kanika to arrange Aditya’s alliance with Nisha, and Kanika agrees. Parineet passes by Neeti, who doesn’t see her face but recognizes her voice.
As Aditya drives home, he recalls the priest giving him a sacred thread (dhaga) that Preet had prayed over. The priest insists it belongs to Aditya’s wife. Aditya says Preet isn’t his wife, but the priest cryptically replies that he knows the truth. Meanwhile, Parineet and Preet both stop the same cab to return home but fail to notice each other. Preet hears the address and wonders who else is headed to the same location. Aditya drives off, unaware that Nisha is left behind, and Nisha feels hurt that he didn’t bother to drop her home.
Later, Parineet reaches Preet’s house. Her friend calls, urging her not to go inside for the sake of her health and blaming her for not bringing her along. Parineet agrees to stay outside and decides to observe from a distance.
Back home, Sushama questions Aditya about his anger. He denies being upset but insists he can’t marry. Sushama insists she’s seen more of life and believes the girl she has chosen is perfect for him. She urges him to move forward. At the same time, Preet confronts Sarada for arranging her wedding without her consent, insisting she doesn’t like the man. Sarada defends her choice, saying he’s a good person. Preet challenges how she could judge him without ever meeting him. Sarada gets a call and steps away. Parineet, outside the house, still doesn’t spot Preet and assumes no one there is familiar to her.
Aditya, moved by Sushama’s conviction, finally agrees to marry the girl she selected. She is delighted and reveals she has invited the girl to the upcoming award function. Meanwhile, Sarada tells herself that Preet won’t agree to this wedding willingly, so she must outsmart her. She’s confident Aditya is the right choice.
Back at home, Nisha returns and overhears Gurinder discussing her marriage plans. Enraged, she burns the photograph and complains to Neeti. Neeti warns Gurinder not to interfere in her daughter’s life. Later, Nisha sees Aditya’s picture and regrets refusing the alliance.
