Nisha tends to Sushama, who remarks that although Nisha hasn’t become her daughter-in-law yet, she is caring for her well. Nisha replies that it is her blessing to care for Sushama, and that relationships don’t matter in doing so. Aditya arrives wanting to talk to Nisha, but fearing he will refuse to marry her, Nisha avoids him by lying about having urgent work since her mother has repeatedly called.
That night, both Preet and Aditya are restless and try to call each other simultaneously but get busy signals, leaving them disappointed. Preet, lost in thought, misses Aditya’s call, and Aditya decides he must meet her urgently.
The next day, Sushama informs Tasleen that her lawyer has arrived with all the necessary papers ready. She asks Aditya to decide whether he will marry Nisha. Aditya replies that this is a crucial decision, and he refuses to marry her.
Sushama responds that he is as stubborn as she is and won’t change her mind either. Aditya insists she cannot force him into marriage. Sushama demands he relinquish his CEO position and leave the house. Despite Simran’s pleas for her to reconsider, Sushama stays firm.
Aditya observes a harsh new side of Sushama and accuses her of blackmailing him, standing firm on his decision. As Sushama attempts to sign the papers, she suddenly falls ill. The doctor advises that she must avoid stress. Aditya tells her to rest and leaves, asking Parth to drive.
In private, Aditya confides to Parth his confusion about marrying Nisha, expressing disinterest in the match. When Parth asks about Preet, Aditya says he understands Preet’s feelings as a brother but wonders why his family doesn’t recognize those feelings, admitting he’s uncertain how to resolve the situation.
Later, Aditya calls Gaurav out of his cabin to speak privately with Preet. Preet insists on receiving a cheque and ignores Aditya’s attempts to talk. When he pulls her close and asks her to listen, she argues and complains about his attitude, refusing to hear explanations about his engagement announcement to Nisha.
Meanwhile, Neeti informs Nisha that she will fix the wedding date soon. Nisha complains that Aditya has not yet agreed to the wedding, but Neeti promises to set the date that day. Aditya tries to speak to Preet again, but after an argument over the cheque—which he eventually gives her—Preet leaves. Aditya vents his frustration to Gaurav.
Tasleen calls Aditya to return home immediately. Neeti manipulates Sushama into agreeing to fix the wedding date, feigning a willingness to postpone it for her health. When Aditya arrives, Sushama emotionally pressures him until he agrees to marry Nisha for her sake.
