Scene 1

Pari is crying so Sanju consoles her.

Pami tells Chandrika that she can’t stop all this, I know this was all plotted. Chandrika says Gurvindar has blackmailed Sanju, we have to stop this divorce. Pami says I can’t do anything, Gurvindar has put her son’s life at stake and she won’t listen to anyone.

In the morning, the lawyer brings the divorce papers. Gurvindar calls Sanju and Pari there, they sadly look at each other. Gurvindar asks them to sign the papers, Neeti comes there and smirks, she thinks this will be the last time they even look at each other. Sanju tries to sign but the pen isn’t working, the lawyer gives him another pen and he signs the papers. Pari is hurt seeing that, the lawyer gives her the papers. Sanju shakes his head, Pari tries to sign but the pen falls down. Neeti picks it up and gives it to her, Pari cries and signs the papers. All family members are sad seeing that. The lawyer says I will submit the papers to finalize their divorce. Pari cries and runs from there.

Scene 2

Pari comes to her room and cries, Gurvindar comes there and consoles her, she says I know you are hurt but we have to do this, women have to go through this pain. I know you have a good heart and did this for your best friend and for Sanju. Just calm down and let them get married, I am like your mother so I am here. She says this room will belong to Sanju and Neeti so you should move out soon. Their engagement will be tomorrow, you should leave the room soon. She goes from there. Pari lies in her bed and cries.

Gurvindar comes to Neeti and says I am so lucky to have you as my daughter-in-law, I am going to give you a gift. I told Pari to leave the room, soon I will find a groom for her and throw her out of this house. Neeti hugs her and says you are the best. Gurvindar says just wait as my gift is Sanju’s room for you, Pari is just a guest here. Neeti says I love you. Sanju comes there and sees them hugging. He says I want to talk to Neeti, Gurvindar nods and leaves.

Pari comes to a neighbour and invites her for Sanju and Neeti’s engagement. She thanks her and leaves. The neighbour’s young girl sees a dream of one girl pushing another girl in a well.

Bebe and Gurvindar are decorating the house for the engagement. Pami says you both seem really happy. Gurvindar says we are making the best out of the situation. Gurvindar calls Pari and asks them to help them. Pami thinks to ease her pain and asks Pari to go and make some tea for them. Bebe says you should stop asking to do your work anymore.

Sanju tells Neeti that they need to talk about their marriage, Neeti says you said you will divorce me once the baby is born. Sanju says I don’t want anyone to question my love and your friendship. We are marrying as a compromise so we will never be husband and wife behind closed doors, you shouldn’t have any hopes from me. Neeti says you don’t need to say this, don’t doubt me. Sanju says I am just clarifying that we are doing this marriage for the baby so don’t have any expectations from me. If you have any issues then we can cancel this wedding, she says no. He leaves from there. Neeti says he said what he wants to but once we get married then what I want will happen. He didn’t want to marry me but he had to so similarly I am going to control his life after marriage, he will do what I want.
