Parineet finds Rajeev lying unconscious in a room. She hurts herself as she touches the doorknob. She keeps shouting at him to wake up. The fire is spreading! Parineet shouts for help. She hurts herself as she touches the broken glass. She finds a vase nearby. It is hot but she picks it up using her dupatta and breaks open the door. She keeps his head in her lap. Please open your eyes. The fire is spreading. He opens his eyes and looks at Parineet. She tells him to try and stay awake. We must get out of here. He passes out.
Vikram shouts for help. He starts coughing because of the fire.
Parineet drags the carpet to a corner. She shouts for help but no one is there. She keeps asking Rajeev to open his eyes. I wont let anything happen to you. She passes out because of the fire.
Rescue
Shera asks Rakesh is he is fine. Do you think Rajeev will die this time? Rakesh nods. He tells Shera his master plan. I have left Rajeev inside to die. It is impossible to survive this time. People are generally sad when someone dies but I feel at peace. Shera says it is bound to happen. Parineet loves Rajeev whereas you love Parineet. You will be happy once Rajeev is out of Parineet’s life. Rakesh agrees. She left me for Rajeev but I killed him for myself. Vikram will save Parineet while Rajeev will die. Now Parineet will get henna of my name on her hand. Shera congratulates him.
Doc tells the families that both of them will regain conscious soon. Monty takes till his car. Parineet wakes up and immediately asks about Rajeev. Is he fine? He was coming with me when! Rajeev says I am fine. He sits up and looks at her. Parineet cries. Gurinder tells Parineet not to cry. Rajeev holds Parineet’s hand and assures her that he is fine. Everyone smiles. Parineet looks at their hands and then notices everyone looking at them. Elders look away. She withdraws her hand and wipes her tears. Rajeev apologizes. I was trying to calm Parineet. His family nods sweetly.
Rescue team member tells everyone that the house has been cleaned. Be very careful now. Mukhiya ji and Jaswant thank him. Harman offers to do it himself but Mukhiya ji says we will do it together. He asks Pundit ji if they should find another mahurat. Pundit ji says mahurat is still on. I was thinking that we can do it now only as you have spent so much money on everything already. Gurinder says you stole my words. We can get them married today only if the bride and groom will agree. Parineet and Rajeev smile. Simar says I will attend the full wedding this time. Vikram says I am glad that Parineet is marrying Rajeev. Shera must have lied about everything but he said one thing that’s true. Rajeev loves Parineet a lot. Parineet and Rajeev smile. They take the bride and groom to freshen up.
Neeti is driving fast. The couple is worried and so is Neeti. They ask her what if the marriage has happened already. Neeti says I can get them divorced. The lady says why rush when that is an option. She stops the car and looks for her phone. It has run out of battery. The lady gives her her phone. Neeti remarks that she has paid all the debts of her past to Neeti by helping her today. The lady smiles. Do you even remember the number? Neeti says there is only one number which I remember by heart. She steps down to call Parineet.
Parineet receives a video call from an unknown number. Simar tells her to pick it. Parineet is hesitant but then answers it. She is pleasantly surprised to see Neeti. Neeti tells her not to marry the guy. He has blocked my number. Something is definitely wrong with him! Parineet tells her to calm down. She tells her that the guy in the mandap was Rakesh earlier but now the actual groom is here. I am very happy. Neeti asks her if she is fine. Hope he dint cause any drama? How is your groom? Parineet speaks highly about Rajeev. Neeti is curious to see the groom. You have been praising him too much. Nupur and Simar play around Parineet. She sends them to bring their jiju. They tease her and go.
Parineet asks Neeti why she hasn’t come till now if she knew that the guy was wrong. Neeti shows the car to her. I was on my way only. Parineet is thrilled. Rajeev joins Parineet. Did you call me? Parineet nods. I wanted to introduce you to my best friend. Rajeev says it is great. I will get to meet your best friend now. We can also tell her how you have changed now. You were such a simple girl earlier but you turned out to be quite brave today. You saved me! Neeti is thrilled to hear it. You have started saving the one you love! Introduce me to your hero now. Rajeev takes the phone just when Vikram interrupts them for something. Monty and his cousin run past them and the phone falls down. Vikram picks it up before Rajeev. Neeti asks him to give it to the groom. Jaswant asks the bride and groom to come for varmala. They go with Jaswant. Vikram speaks to Neeti. I was trying to call you. She teases him and then complements Rajeev’s voice. It is very attractive. He calls her strange. How can someone’s voice be attractive? She gives the examples of singers. I think I should head back now that Parineet is safe. He asks her to come as she is almost here. She denies. What if they get me married to someone else too? What if no one is available and they force me to marry Parineet’s groom? He says such things don’t happen. Will you do it if such a situation arises? She refuses. Who wants to be someone’s sautan? I don’t want to be that person ever. It is time to go home now. I will also change my number. He tells her to share the new number with him. She agrees. They end the call.
Rakesh leaves in his jeep. Shera fails in stopping him and informs Rakesh’s father. MLA tells Shera that Rakesh has good control on car. He will be fine. Shera shares that Rakesh has lost his mind since he has heard that Rajeev and Parineet will marry today itself. What should I do? MLA asks him to come home asap. I have some urgen work for you. Shera is worried for Rakesh but MLA tells him not to worry about Rakesh. He will come home once he calms down.
Neeti tells the couple that they can continue. I will head back to Chandigarh now as my friend is finally marrying the right guy. The lady agrees. Sit in the car. We will drop you to the bus station. She smiles. You are doing me a favour yet again. Neeti asks them if she should drive the car. The man agrees. Neeti starts driving the car. She rues that she would have attended Parineet’s wedding if only she hadn’t eloped!
MLA’s special guest / BIL comes to MLA’s house. He congratulates his BIL half heartedly which surprises his BIL. MLA tells Rakesh’s problem with him. I don’t understand what we should do now.
Rajeev puts the varmala around Parineet. Parineet is happy thinking about how Rajeev has been by her side today.
Rakesh keeps thinking about how Parineet had rejected him every single time. He loses control and gets into an accident. He calls Shera for help.
Gurpreet asks Gurinder to do the gathbandhan this time. Gurinder happily agrees. Mandeep is looking unhappily at the couple. Gurpreet welcomes the guests. Parineet holds Rajeev’s hand as he gives aahuti in the havan.
Precap: Pundit ji pronounces Parineet and Rajeev as husband and wife. Right then, MLA walks in with police. Rakesh announces that he and Parineet love each other. Rakesh asks Parineet to tell Rajeev. He also tells Rajeev to give divorce to Parineet now. Rajeev asks Parineet what all this is. She asks him what he thinks. He asks her what she thinks it would be. I never thought that this will happen to me!
