Rakesh decides to kill Rajeev. They star fighting. Parineet is on her way to the room in which Rakesh was. She hears a scream and recognizes Rajeev’s voice. Rakesh passes out. Rajeev gulps for air. He is shocked to see Parineet.
Neeti asks the driver to drive fast. I could have walked faster than this! Has aunty ji told you not to drive fast? He reasons that it is night. Anyone can appear from any corner. She admits that he threatened to kill him. He asks her why she was willing to sacrifice her life for him. She tells him that he is very important to her. He asks her if she will play with her life for him. She says this isn’t the only reason. He insists upon knowing the real reason. They are distracted by lightning. He suggests hiding Rakesh first. They meet Bittu just on their way out. He asks them to come as it is getting late. They walk away quietly.
Vikram is unable to reach Neeti. He notices the tempo outside and is shocked to see Shera and Jai in the back. What are you doing here? Who has done this to you? Shera says Rakesh is furious as Parineet is marrying someone else. He has hit us and tied us out of anger. Please free us. Jai also requests him. Vikram asks about Rakesh. Shera says we have no clue. Vikram unties Shera’s hands. Why are you in this disguise? These are the clothes which the band was wearing. Shera says it was Rakesh’s plan. We don’t know anything. He stops Vikram from calling police. How can we complain against Rakesh? He has lost his mind but we are not at fault here. Vikram threatens them to leave asap. You otherwise know what I can do! Shera agrees. Vikram heads back inside. Jai asks Shera why he lied to Vikram. Shera says he would have killed us if he knew the truth. They head inside stealthily.
Neeti asks the man to stop the car. We left it behind. She very smartly switches sear with him as he steps down to see something. The lady asks her what she is doing. She apologies to her. We will never make it in time though. He complies. Drive safely though. She agrees.
Bittu asks Rakesh if he is upset with him. You aren’t even limping! It is Parineet who dropped hot ghee on your legs. Why are you not talking to me? Rajeev’s sister notices them and decides to tell everyone that they are on their way. Bittu shows the knife to Parineet and threatens to remain quiet. He vows to make sure Parineet marries Rakesh. He goes. Rajeev holds Parineet’s hand and tells her to relax. No one will hurt you in any way till the time I am with you. I saved you even when I dint know. Now we are together so think of all that I can do for you! I wont let anything wrong happen to you. She tells him that she trusted him back then and she trusts him now as well. He smiles and holds her hand. Shall we? They descend the stairs holding hands. Parineet looks at their hands sweetly. Pas memories flash in the background.
Gurpreet stops Gurinder from getting up. Rajeev and Parineet come to the mandap holding hands. Gurpreet smiles thinking about Parineet’s love confession. Mandeep calls it shamelessness. They are holding hands! I agree that they love each other but why must they announce it to the world? Harman smiles as he holds her hand. You look very sweet when you are angry. She looks at him speechlessly. He smiles.
Parineet wishes Neeti was here. I would have introduced her to Rajeev.
Mandeep frees her hand feeling shy.
Gurinder asks Rajeev to let go of his would-be wife’s hand. Everyone is watching! He let’s go of Parineet’s hand. I am sorry I did not know that everyone was looking at us. Rajeev holds Parineet as she was about to stumble. I told you I wont let anything happen to you. They sit down. Parineet thinks that he really is an angel for her. I don’t know why I cannot tell you what you mean to me. I don’t know why I cannot tell you that I love you. He asks her if she said anything. She is surprised and shakes her head.
MLA’s goon tells Bittu that boss called just now. He is happy that Rakesh is finally marrying the one he likes.
Rajeev holds Simar’s hand as she was about get hurt. Careful! She murmurs I hate you. He lifts her sehra a little. She jumps in joy and hugs Parineet. Mandeep tells her not to trouble the bride. Harman asks her what happened. Simar remains quiet.
Parineet keeps her hand in Rajeev’s hand happily upon askance. Rajeev nods at her reassuringly. Parineet thinks I may or may not understand these mantras but this holy fire is my witness, I am yours from hereon.
Precap: Jai and Shera have freed Rakesh. He vows to burn the mandap. No one will get married there if I cannot marry Parineet! Rakesh comes downstairs wearing a shawl while Shera throws gasoline in the corridor. Parineet notices him just when he lights a match.
