Preet eagerly asks Aditya if he managed to convince his mother, excited for her grahpravesh and hopeful to learn everything from her. But Aditya admits that his mother still refuses to accept them and won’t even listen to him. He suggests they leave everything behind and start a new life together. Preet, however, insists that a mother can never truly turn away from her son, and she wants to talk to Simran herself to make her understand. Aditya, torn, explains his mother asked him to choose between them—and he chose Preet because he can’t live without her. While he argues that his love is enough for their happiness, Preet reminds him no one can replace the warmth of family.
Determined, Preet approaches Simran with an apology, admitting that Aditya was wrong to marry her without informing his mother and assuring she has no intention of separating her from her son. But Simran refuses to forgive her, harshly demanding she leave. Preet pleads to be accepted and promises to fulfill every duty of a daughter-in-law. Aditya defends Preet, vowing to stand by her for life, but Simran remains adamant.
At the same time, Jasleen warns Simran about Neeti’s persistence, while Nisha overhears fragments of the truth. When she confronts Aditya, Nisha is devastated to learn about his secret marriage. Humiliated, she lashes out at Preet with taunts, going as far as to slap her. Though Aditya defends his wife, Nisha, heartbroken, harms herself by slitting her wrist. Meanwhile, Harjot and Sarada mistakenly assume Preet has been accepted into the Kashyap family, even as Jasleen demands she leave Aditya’s life once and for all.
