The episode opens with Sanju asking Neeti to step away, leaving her stunned by the presence of the investors. Trying to defend herself, Neeti insists there is no misunderstanding. She explains that Sanju loves Parvathi and was only locked in the bathroom due to his fear of enclosed spaces. She hugged him merely to comfort him, calling it a harmless gesture. However, the investors demand the truth, suspecting media rumors about Sanju leaving Neeti at the altar to marry Parvathi. Neeti denies this claim. To convince them, Sanju hugs Parvathi, but the investors remain skeptical, saying a hug doesn’t prove anything. In an impulsive move, Sanju kisses Parvathi in front of everyone. Parvathi glares at him, clearly furious, and walks away. Sanju acknowledges his mistake, admitting such actions are not culturally
Neeti reflects on her situation, regretting bringing Parvathi into this mess. She resolves not to lose Sanju, regardless of the cost—be it her reputation or her business. She is determined not to let anyone, whether Parvathi or Parineet, take Sanju away from her.
Later, Sanju attempts to console an angry Parvathi, who lashes out and calls him a “roadside Romeo.” Sanju demands an explanation for the insult, refusing to let her leave without clarification. Parvathi compares his recent behavior to that of a flirtatious Romeo. Sanju defends himself, insisting he is a devoted husband and his actions were misinterpreted. He argues that if she had truly found his behavior offensive, she would have slapped him on the spot. Since she didn’t, he believes her anger is just an act. Reassuring her, Sanju promises never to betray her trust.
Ambika later advises Parvathi to avoid dwelling on these issues, suggesting they only lead to more trouble. Meanwhile, Gurinder prepares for the puja, inviting the investors to join. Neeti notices Sanju’s constant attention toward Parvathi, further fueling her insecurities. Daljeet asks Neeti about a recent fire accident, but Gurinder interrupts, pulling Daljeet aside for a private conversation.
During their talk, Gurinder accuses Daljeet of supporting and blackmailing Neeti for money. She confronts him about why a plumber demanded payment and claims he’s hiding Neeti’s attempt to harm her. Gurinder reveals she herself tried to kill Neeti in the storeroom and warns Daljeet not to cross her. Daljeet, in turn, calls her the worst person for betraying everyone, including her own son, and threatens to expose her actions. Bebe overhears this exchange but decides to keep it from Neeti, fearing it might cause a scene in front of the investors.
Sanju, ignoring Neeti, approaches Ambika and refers to her as his mother-in-law, adding to Neeti’s despair. She bitterly reflects on how Parvathi seems to have everything, while she feels utterly alone. Despite her frustration, Neeti resolves not to give up and vows to fight for Sanju.
As the priest asks Sanju and Parvathi to light the Lohri fire together as part of their first celebration, Neeti shocks everyone by grabbing Sanju’s hand, leaving the crowd in stunned silence.
