Aditya tells Simran that Preet is his wife, and they were married in Mata Rani’s temple with all rituals and even Sarada’s blessing. Simran refuses to accept the marriage, accusing him of lying, but Aditya clarifies that Sarada initially rejected him before later accepting his love for Preet. He insists he cannot live without Preet and reminds his mother that marrying Nisha would only bring unhappiness.
Simran insists Nisha is the perfect daughter-in-law and orders Preet to leave. Aditya stands by Preet, who feels guilty for upsetting his mother. Aditya reassures her, promising to convince Simran. Meanwhile, Jasleen manipulates Simran, portraying Preet as the reason Aditya turned against her. Simran feels betrayed, blaming Preet for ruining her family’s happiness and questioning her own upbringing.
Aditya apologizes, but Simran declares she will never accept Preet and only wants Nisha as her daughter-in-law. While Sarada and Harjot pray for Preet’s acceptance, Preet herself prays not to be the cause of Simran’s pain. Aditya pleads with Simran to see Preet’s goodness, but Jasleen fuels Simran’s anger by calling Preet characterless. Aditya defends Preet, leading Simran to demand that he choose between them. Despite her emotional blackmail, Aditya chooses Preet, leaving Simran heartbroken as she orders him out of the house.
