Aditya slips a ring onto Preet’s finger, leaving her shocked and emotional. Meanwhile, Gaurav impersonates Aditya, dancing with his family during the engagement festivities. Nisha questions why Gaurav is wearing the Sehra, and Neeti explains he has a reason and will remove it after the ceremony. Nisha happily dances with him while Harjot worries he might get caught. During the dance, Gaurav’s Sehra falls off, prompting Sushama to stop the music.
Later, Preet confronts Aditya about what’s happening. Aditya explains that placing the ring on her finger is his promise that no one will come between them. When Preet asks about Nisha, Aditya assures her that Nisha knows he has no feelings for her, despite his attempts to confess his love to Preet. Moved, Preet places the ring on Aditya’s hand and embraces him. The priest announces the auspicious muhurat of their engagement and leaves to bring the Prasad. Suddenly, goons arrive looking for them, and Aditya quickly takes Preet away.
Back at the venue, Nisha questions Gaurav about his behavior, mistaking him for Aditya. Harjot turns off the lights, blaming a power outage, and Sushama scolds Gaurav for his lack of responsibility. Harjot helps Gaurav recover the Sehra, and the lights are restored with credit given to Gaurav. The priest calls everyone to begin the engagement ceremony.
Meanwhile, Aditya and Preet reach the edge of a cliff, and Aditya jumps into the waterfall holding her hand. The goons assume they won’t survive and leave. Aditya manages to save Preet from drowning and takes her to an abandoned hut where she shivers from the cold. Concerned, Aditya tries to wake her and reflects on a friend who died from a similar cold-induced coma. Determined to save Preet, he becomes intimate with her to keep her warm and protect her life.
Back at the venue, Harjot suspects Gaurav is behind the Sehra incident and feels powerless to stop the engagement or reveal the truth. Nisha notices Gaurav’s trembling hand and informs others. Simran diagnoses it as a fever. Gaurav feigns vomiting and escapes the scene.
Gurinder urgently tries to inform Neeti about a problem but Neeti is preoccupied with the engagement. Gurinder explains that Sanju acted strangely, mentioning Parineet’s name before falling from his wheelchair, and has been hospitalized. She urges Neeti to come quickly, but Neeti refuses, unwilling to leave her daughter’s engagement despite everything, questioning why Sanju fell ill at such a crucial moment and recalling how he always hurt her. Meanwhile, Aditya feels relieved as Preet begins to breathe normally.
