Preet confides in Sarada, admitting she doesn’t understand why a certain woman made such a remark. Harjot advises Preet not to dwell on it and to focus on her work instead. Turning to Sarada, Harjot asks if she has any insight. Sarada speculates that Preet’s life could change tonight, possibly bringing her a new family.
Meanwhile, Preet directs the waiter to serve juice to a guest, and Aditya learns from the waiter that Preet wants the guest to be treated well. He notices Preet organizing decorations and steps in to help her.
Elsewhere, Nisha is searching for Aditya and checks with Gaurav, who suggests Aditya may be busy. Nisha goes to the catering area to look for him. Gaurav observes the dynamic, thinking Nisha likes Aditya, but Aditya is interested in Preet. Preet enjoys teasing Aditya, which he secretly likes, though he finds the situation confusing.
Later, Aditya tries to start a conversation with Preet. She tells him she can’t relax until her work is finished. Jokingly, he asks if she’s copying him, noting they share similar thoughts. Their banter continues with Preet teasing him about impressing her and daydreaming. Aditya reveals he used to have dreams about someone he couldn’t have, so he stopped dreaming. When Preet asks if she’s a good person, Aditya replies that if she were, they would be together, but he’s moving on now. Preet feels like she’s seeing the real Aditya, and he mentions not everyone gets that chance, making Preet feel fortunate.
In another part of the house, Neeti questions Tasleen on how she convinced Sushama to accept Nisha’s alliance with Aditya. Tasleen proudly explains she switched Nisha’s photo into Mata Rani’s statue to sway Sushama’s opinion, claiming Nisha is perfect for Aditya and even boasting about saving Sushama’s life. Neeti commends her efforts.
Meanwhile, Nisha bumps into Sarada in the kitchen and rudely questions her about Aditya’s whereabouts. Sarada wonders why Nisha is seeking him. Harjot arrives and is asked about Preet, telling Nisha that Preet is busy. Bebe comments about Nisha searching for both Aditya and Preet, prompting another rude reply from Nisha, to which Harjot responds sharply. Neeti calls Nisha, telling her to stick close to Aditya and reveals a mask party has been organized so his family sees them together.
Later, Aditya is caught admiring Preet, loses his balance, and jokes that he’s hurt, causing Preet to laugh, worry, and eventually tumble onto him. Nisha, becoming jealous at the sight, scolds Aditya for his behavior. When questioned, she hints at ongoing issues between their families and abruptly hugs him as Preet starts to leave. Aditya holds Preet’s hand as Neeti and Sarada enter, after which Preet excuses herself. Aditya tells Neeti that Nisha seems upset. Sarada thinks Aditya is a kind person but finds Nisha’s persistent attention towards him bothersome. Aditya excuses himself to find Preet, while Neeti consoles Nisha.
Greeting his Dadi, Aditya receives praise from Neeti and Gurinder for his arrangements. He eventually finds Preet to try and talk, but she vents her frustration at him, which prompts him to ask whether she is feeling jealous.
The episode ends.
