Nisha keeps a close eye on Sarada, who asks Harjot to fetch some spices. Believing they are preparing a lavish meal for a guest, Nisha secretly plans to poison it. Resentful of Preet for always coming between her and Aditya, she vows revenge on the entire family. She recalls instructing her servant to buy rat poison; when he questions why, she insults his background in anger. Realizing he might turn against her, she softens her tone, claiming she is under stress because her wedding was arranged in haste, and lies that Preet requested the poison to deal with rats in the kitchen.
Later, Nisha spots Preet and Sarada asking the chef in another kitchen to make juice for the guest. When they leave to gather ingredients, Nisha sneaks in and mixes poison into the food and ladoos. Harjot catches her, so Nisha lies, saying she was looking for the chef to give him a powder meant for her diabetic mother-in-law’s sweets. Harjot believes her, and Nisha hurries away—only to trip. Preet offers to help, but Sarada urges Preet to focus on work. Nisha cryptically remarks she won’t recover quickly, leaving Preet puzzled.
Determined to remove Preet from Aditya’s life, Nisha later watches as the chef hands bitter gourd juice to Preet, who takes it to Aditya. While Aditya chats with Dadi, Preet offers him the juice, and Sushama claims she brought it for him. Aditya says he expected to hate its bitterness but has grown to like it—indirectly expressing his feelings for Preet. Sushama suspects they’re talking about a girl and warns Aditya to keep his distance, but he says Preet is already distant.
Meanwhile, Nisha excitedly tells Neeti she has poisoned the food, eager to frame Preet and have her arrested. Preet announces the food is ready, and Simran asks Aditya to dance—he chooses Nisha to make Preet jealous. Preet goes to serve food, and Nisha notices Simran eating sweets, sending Neeti to stop her. Simran praises the sweets, and Sushama eats them too, but both soon feel unwell, alarming the family.
As Preet’s family reacts in shock, Nisha moves to assist Sushama. Jasleen senses something is wrong. Neeti calls a doctor and angrily confronts Nisha, saying she was only supposed to poison the ladoos, not everything. Nisha, hurt by her mother’s insults and being called an “idiot,” accuses Neeti of being selfish and unsupportive compared to Sarada. Neeti tries to reason with her, but Nisha lashes out, calling her a demon—prompting Neeti to slap her.
