Preeth and her mother fall from a cliff but manage to cling to a rock. While Manpreet feigns concern, she is secretly pleased. Chachu feels relieved seeing them alive. Preeth urges her mother to hold her hand, fearing she’ll lose grip, but her mother pleads with her not to risk her life. Preeth insists she can’t live without her. Just as her mother loses balance, Preeth catches her hand in time by God’s grace. She calls out to Chachu to throw down a rope, while Bebe prays for their safety. With great effort, Preeth pulls her mother up, risking her own life. She hugs her and assures her that she kept her promise to protect her.
Upon noticing her mother’s bleeding leg, Preeth tries to use her dupatta to dress the wound, but Chachu offers a kerchief. Despite the injury, her mother insists on visiting the Gurudwara immediately. Preeth tries to reason with her, but she faints. Preeth quickly seeks help, spotting a cart to transport her mother to the hospital. There, the doctor informs them that immediate surgery is required.
While Bebe and Preeth try to console Gurleen, Preeth reassures her that their mother will be fine. She updates Chachu about the surgery. When the doctor mentions the cost, Preeth declares she’ll handle it using the dowry money her mother had saved, prioritizing her mother’s life over her wedding. Manpreet disapproves, but Chachu supports Preeth. Due to the seriousness of the case, the chief doctor is called in.
Meanwhile, at home, Neeti orders Parineet’s photo to be thrown away, refusing to even hear her name. Gurinder hesitates, but Bebe warns her not to anger Neeti. Neeti reminds them she hasn’t changed in 20 years and demands the photo be removed.
Back at the hospital, the doctor informs Preeth that although her mother survived the surgery, her condition remains critical due to internal bleeding. A life-saving injection is required, which is only available in Chandigarh. Chachu volunteers to go, but Manpreet stops him, citing a dangerous storm and swearing on herself. Preeth overhears this and becomes emotional while watching over her mother.
