The episode starts with pitamaha bhishma telling vidur to arrange this competition as early as possible to understand who is able for ruling our empire & also says that time has come to announce yudhishtir as yuvraj so vidur says yes but he tries to convince maharaj dritarashtra to accept the fact of current situations but maharaj replies that we have also to see how they all compete & accordingly the decision will be taken then bhisma reminds maharaj that not to forget as yudhistir is pandav’as elder son because of whose sudden demise you have got this status of maharaj so it’s your duty to return his status to his son so maharaj says I honor you pitamaha but now I am maharaj & I know how to perform my duty so it’ll be better if you give me time to think about this.
Kunti
Krishna explains future of kunti’s son who was growing with his help in form of parshuram.
Guru parshuram is sleeping on karna’s lap while he is remembering about guru praising & gifting him bow of god indra who had created to destroy all evils as karna is very excited & happy with it. A scorpion comes on lap of karna while he thinks he should not get disturbed so he sustains pain of biting by scorpion as gurudev wakes up in the morning seeing how karna could sustain this pain so he asks him why you did not tell me so karan says I did not wanted to break my promise & also not to disturb you then gurudev understands as this can only be done by any Kshatriya so why you lied me then karna says I never told you the truth then gurudev curses karna that when you need the power for your help which I have taught you it won’t be able to help you & karna pleads gurudev but in vain.
All pandav brothers are talking with each other about competing with weapons & bhim also saying I was waiting for this day to defeat dooryodhan. Yudhishtir asking Arjun what you are thinking so Arjun says mata kunti has sacrificed lot for guruvansh but never got appreciation so this is the time to bring her in light.
Krishna explains what kunti said was true & how maharaj pandu sacrificed his life for jungles for getting his sons births as bhim & sahadev were born by his second wife mathuri so at one hand karna was leading his life searching his truth where other hand kunti was also in depression with her other sons leading her life with.
Maharaj dhritarashtra meets his son dooryodhan in his room while they are talking with each other but dooryodhan tells his father somebody is planning to give your seat to yudhishtir then his father explains him about how he got this seat due to pandu’s demise so his son is liable to get this seat who is now able to handle the empire as I have always performed my duties with help of pitamaha & vidur so I have to obey their decision but dooryodhan says no as your son is also able so you do not have to listen to them but to understand your rights too as your are samrat. But his father says to disobey bhishma will be wrong as he has helped me in lot of occasions by giving sacrifices. Dooryodhan says that because of that we can’t leave our rights & if possible I can keep my life at stake to achieve our rights. Mama shakuni comes saying that please consider you father’s helplessness also before deciding anything. Shakuni tells dhritarashtra that I am also in favor of dooryodhan but you can only decide to compete dooryodhan with yudhishtir which will give all results so he falls in confusion.
Pitamaha bhishma, dhritarashtra, kunti her sister, shakuni & guru drone including guru vishwakarma have gathered to watch the competition on their field. Dhritrarashtra is thinking about what shakuni told him as he thinks that he is with dooryodhan but this is not so easy towards wishes of bhishma pitamaha.
Guru drone takes permission for start of competition so he signals for the same. Suddenly a sound comes while guru drone’s sound of signal decreases & dhritrarashtra asks guard why his sound has decreased & the announcement is happening about dwarkadhish shri Krishna is arriving so all are praising & happy of krishna’s arrival.
