The episode starts with narad muni saying kansa, think about it again before you think of trying to kill kanha, he can very well kill you. narad muni goes. kansa is in fear of death and he says mata danu, undo your maya on these roads and let kanha and balram go to ujjaini. Mata danu says kansa, you can do something now! Don’t step back from fear of dying, let kanha come and fight him and kill him in mal-yudh. kansa says no mata danu, do as I say and let go of your maya on these roads.
Mata danu again expresses her concern of kansa being tricked by narad munia and she says kansa, think! Why would narad muni come here to stop you just when you were about to trick kanha into your plan and bring him to Mathura? Kansa says I understand because I am bhagwan kansa, but my fear of death has helped me to stay alive and I also wont let kanha live like this. kansa says I have plans for him.
Kanha and balram are continuing their journey to ujjaini. Balram says kanha, there still doesn’t seem the right road to ujjaini, what to do? As kanha and balram continue the journey, the road reappears to ujjaini. Kanha says see the road has come back, kanha and balram continue on the road to ujjaini.
Danu taunts kansa that if he is so feared of kanha, then he better drop the plan of killing him because this fear is not going to take him anywhere, it will rather get him killed and then the aakashvani will be true. Kansa gets angry and says mata danu, you are saying too much. The fear of dying has kept me alive for these many years and it will ahead, but only my mind and my power can kill kanha which is why I have laid out a maze of four traps in the way of kanha and balram. Kansa says the first trap is the elephant, the elephant who can kill kanha. The elephant’s name is, Kuvalayapida. Kansa laughs.
Narad muni asks lord Vishnu who is kuvalayapida? Lord Vishnu says Kuvalayapida is an elephant who lives in Kalahari forest. Lord Vishnu satisfies narad muni’s curiosity about kuvalayapida.
Kansa meets devki in the palace and says oh krishna’s mother, what are you doing here? You are still in the prison? Hasn’t your son come to rescue you? devki smiles and says kansa, you try to overestimate yourself but you really know that the aakashvani will be true and you will be killed from the hands of paramavatar shri Krishna. Devki then feeds a laddoo to kansa and says rejoice the moments that you are still alive for.
Kanha and balram reach the ashram of rishi sandeepani and are welcomed by an old rishi and some students. They say welcome to rishi sandeepani’s ashram kanha and balram, we have been waiting for you. kanha smiles and says where is rishi sandeepani? The old rishi says he has gone out, he will soon come. Kanha then sees the rishi’s and says these are not rishi’’s of guru sandeepani’s ashram but they are demons disguised as rishi’s. the demons reveal themselves and laugh and say we have come here to kill you both kanha and balram.
Precap: balram is angry and he says I will kill you all demons with my mudgal. The demons fight kanha and balram.
