Shehzada Dhami who is known for his role of grown-up Param Singh Gill in Choti Sarrdaarni was super excited when he bagged the role. However, his track didn’t shape up the way he expected it to. Shehzada was unhappy with the graph of his character and has decided to quit the show.
In a recent interview with BT, Shehzada talked about it and confirmed the news. He said, “Yes, I am quitting the show because I am not happy with my character and track. It didn’t shape up the way I was promised. I was under the impression that the grown-up Param will have a similar graph as the younger one, who was an important character in the storyline. But there was no scope for me to explore as an actor. Of course, I was disappointed that it fell short of my expectations. My last day of the shoot is on December 3.”
He adds, “I am clear that I want to play only lead roles. Once I wrap up the shoot of Choti Sarrdaarni, phir kaam dhoondhne mein lag jaayenge (smiles). I came to Mumbai to pursue my passion, which is acting, and not to make money. Back then itself I had decided that I would play only the main character. Scene mein aapke paas dialogues hi nahi honge toh koi matlab hi nahi hai. Mujhe paise ke liye nahi acting ke liye kaam karna hai aur scene mein side mein khade nahi hona hai. I want to do good work.”
The actor, who made his debut on the small screen with Yehh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka, says, “I have pursued theatre and have been a part of plays in Punjab. That’s been my training ground. I had difficulty speaking in chaste Hindi. But I worked on it and honed my craft. I aspire to become better,” he concludes.

🥳🥳🥳 I respect this decision. Because cs never gave chance to talent. They did this to Avinesh at the last days. These makers only want their favourite female lead and her favorite overacting guy. This actor is very talented actor. He deserves good track. In cs Param’s character is the base of meharab relationship. Just for this leap they destroyed everything. No chance to acting skills. This is the only talented actor in cs after leap in new cast. I agree with his each and every word. Cs is only for Nimrith not others. It is the reality. For sake of this Nimrith makers removed Avinesh and took leap. They wasted the potential of good actors. No words to tell.

They should have made him the main lead in the first place and Param’s wife should have been became the CS according to Gill’s tradition! Param was the center of the show.
What to say AG? You know that what is the main requirement to become male lead. He should be female lead’s favourite. See now talented actors are leaving and model is doing overacting as male lead. This production house is pure disgusting.First they did wrong with Avinesh and now with this actor.

I am Feeling Bad For Him and Adhik, Because They are not getting enough screen space Plus Both are Really Talented… Bas Sehraj Hi Dikha Rahe Hai… I have no issues with that…But Both Param and Karan equally deserves screen space…
Pehle Pehle It was really Equal… After SehRaj Marriage, I was excited for Param-Karan Love Story…Because of The Love Triangle with Anurita, It got messed up… And Now They are just standing like Furnitures with Less Dialogues… They are Main Characters too…
PH could have come up with Spinoff Series, Like How Ishqbaaaz came up with Dil Boley Oberoi, which Revolve Around Omkara and Rudra and Their Love Stories. Similarly, In this Param and Karan would be Leads and could get to see Their Unique Love Stories and How They Follow Mehrab’s Teachings…

This is the only show in itv which has overacting male lead. Most of the shows lead actors are performing well. I am very happy about this decesion. Cs doesn’t deserve talented actors.
There is no direction for Param character, even Anurita character has vanished!
