Actress Shiny Doshi, who recently tied the knot with businessman Lavesh Khairajani in July, talked about her experience so far and shared, “The only change is that my house address is different. When you are shooting for a TV show, you are outside the house 14 hours a day. I look forward to going back home and packing up early so that I can spend time with my husband. Otherwise, nothing much has changed.”
Shiny adds, “It’s just that after marriage, you have small responsibilities. You are running the house, so managing groceries are now my daily routine. Earlier, I used to live with my mother, so she used to manage everything. I never had to tell her what to cook for dinner or breakfast. Now, every day I have to plan the menu with my maid. These are the only changes I have observed in my life after marriage. For a working woman, they are a big deal because you are mostly out of the house. But, I love doing it because it’s for my family, so I don’t see it as a burden. I enjoy it.”
Talking about her decision of choosing Lavesh as her partner. She says, “It feels great to have the right person sitting next to you. You feel beautiful waking up and greeting the man you love, every day. I thank the universe for giving me Lavesh and choosing him to be my life partner.”
She concluded by saying, “I feel in a marriage it is not important to agree with each other but how gracefully you take each other’s opinions. A strong companionship is when a person respects your opinions and feelings. I feel it is the most important part in a marriage.”
