Pandya Store fame Kanwar Dhillon on playing father to a 5-year-old

Kanwar Dhillon, who is known for essaying the role of Shiva in Pandya Store, will now play father to a 5-year-old in the show. While this is the first time Kanwar will be essaying the role of a father, he has no qualms about it.

The actor talked about it during a recent interview and shared, “The show had to get a fresh look and since we had all been shown married, it was about time that the story progressed. Post the 5-year leap, Raavi (Alice Kaushik) and I play parents to a 5-year-old son. I had no problems because it is a part of an ongoing story. I will never agree to play father to a grown-up.”

Talking about the twists in the story post the leap, he said, “My role will get more interesting and I am glad that post the leap, I also have a new look. I have cut my hair short and Shiva will look different and more mature because he is a father now. I am also happy that the show has found a connection with the masses.”

On the personal front, Kanwar is in a relationship with his co-actor Alice Kaushik. Earlier in an interview with BT, the actor talked about it and shared “Alice is a very simple girl. We both are happy and content in our personal and professional lives. Everything else in life will gradually happen when it has to.”
