Happy times
Virat was shocked to see Kamble’s men keeping Sai at the gunpoint and Pakhi at the edge of a cliff. Kamble laughs seeing him and says, “DCP sahab that day you raised your hand on me for Sai Joshi that too when she was just your ex-wife. Today whom will you save first? Your ex-wife or your present wife?” Virat pleads to him, “Ajay Kamble, do whatever you want with me!! I have come here unarmed without any police force, leave Sai and Pakhi!!” As Virat was talking to Kamble, Sai bites one of the men’s hands and tries to escape. The man catches her and pushes her. She falls and cries catching her stomach. Virat runs forward towards Sai but he is stopped by Ajay Kamble who warns him that he would shoot Sai if he keeps one foot forward. Virat shouts, “Are you mad? She is pregnant!!!” Ajay Kamble was surprised to hear that. He teases, “DCP sahab you seem to be too fast. It’s hardly been a month that you both started living together again and you have already made her pregnant?” He laughs out loudly on saying that, Virat and Sai get annoyed. Kamble continues, “I think there must be something special in this Doctor Sahiba that you made her pregnant within a month” He touches Sai lustfully while saying that. Virat gets irritated and shouts, “Don’t you dare touch Sai, Kamble!!” Kamble “Tsk-tsk, your ex-wife must be feeling really bad seeing all this right? She must be thinking why am I alive? I will make things easier for her. I will make death easier for her.” Virat tries to say something but before that Kamble stops him saying, “I’m not over yet. As you can see, I want to play a game with you. I want to see whom will you choose first. On one side my men will push your ex-wife from the cliff and on the other side they will vastraharan your current wife. Let me see what will you save first. Your ex-wife’s life or your current wife’s self-respect.” Virat’s eyes widen in fear. He looks at both Sai and Pakhi. Kamble signs his men. The men push Pakhi’s wheelchair to the edge of the cliff while on the other side they catch Sai’s saree pallu. Sai shouts, “Virat save Pakhi didi first!!” Virat was completely perplexed. He reflects for an instant takes a rope kept nearby and throws it onto Pakhi’s wheelchair encircling it around her. Using the rope, he pulls Pakhi inwards away from the edge of the cliff and keeps her in a safe place. By that time, the other set of men pull Sai’s saree pallu away from her body. He screams, “Bastards!!” instantly takes off his shirt and runs to cover Sai with it. Then he covers himself onto Sai’s body so that goons don’t reach her. Kamble’s men keep beating, punching and kicking Virat from above but he does not move and keeps protecting Sai by shielding her. Sai painfully looked at Virat as he bore all the beatings, punches and kicks on his body while protecting her. Ghum hai kisikey pyaar mein dramatic tune plays in the background. Soon, a gunshot was heard. The police force had arrived. They catch Kamble and his men and take them away. After the police leave with Kamble and his men, Virat goes to Sai and asks her, “Are you alright?” Sai tells Virat that she is alright. Virat keeps his hand on her tummy and asks if it is alright. Sai nods. Virat hugs Sai. Pakhi fumes in jealousy seeing it. She moves her hand but Virat and Sai do not notice it. Once all the goons are caught and taken away, Virat and Sai return home along with Pakhi where the family members were waiting anxiously for them after coming to know about Ajay Kamble’s mishap from one of the police staff. The family members demand Virat and Sai if they were alright. Virat and Sai assure the family members that they are safe now and there is nothing to worry. The children hug their parents and ask them never to leave them alone. Virat and Sai embrace them. After everyone feels assured about Virat, Sai and Pakhi’s safety, Ashwini suggests Sai to do a checkup to confirm that everything is alright. Sai nods. The family members ask Virat and Sai to take rest and take Pakhi away. Pakhi kept staring at Virat and Sai from the corner of her eye.
Night time, Virat and Sai’s bedroom
Virat is trying to apply medicine onto his wounds when Sai comes and catches his hand stopping him. She signs that she will do it. Virat allows her to do it. As Sai starts applying the medicine, Virat tells her, “I’m sorry Sai that because of me you and our child both got into trouble.” Sai, “What are you saying Virat. You were the one who saved us today.” Virat, “And I was the one who put you into trouble too. Ajay Kamble wanted to avenge me and for that he took you and Pakhi as hostages today. You know how disgusted I felt when he touched you. I can’t imagine the thought of someone else touching…” He stopped himself. Sai smiles on hearing those words and says, “It wasn’t you Virat but rather me who started the enemity with Ajay Kamble so why blame yourself for that?” Virat, “No Sai it is me who always puts you into trouble. It was because of me that Pakhi is in this condition today. I think I’m a bad omen in whosoever’s life I’m in. I bring downfall to all those who love me and come near me. Stay away from me Sai…Stay away from Sai.” He becomes agitated while saying that. Sai tries to calm him down saying, “Sshhh…sshhh…Virat you are not a bad luck to anyone. Infact you are the best thing that happened to me. Without you, I would have never become Dr. Sai Joshi, without you I wouldn’t have got Chavan family in my life and without you I wouldn’t have got my munchkins Vinu, Savi and (touching her stomach) the one to come. You are my good luck charm Virat.” On saying that, Sai kisses Virat’s eyes, then she goes downwards and kisses his cheeks and nose, next as she reaches towards his lips, she stops herself as she remembers her promise to him that she will not force him to fulfill his duties of a husband until he is relieved of his guilt. She gets up to leave but Virat catches her hand and pulls her towards him. She sits onto his lap. Virat catches Sai’s head moves his fingers through her hair, draws her closer and brushes his lips onto hers. Soon they were lost in their passion with their lips touching each other. Gradually, Virat feels his hands on Sai’s body and gently pushes her onto the bed. Sai leans backwards and lies down. Virat lies onto her and they make love. As the clock ticked forward in that moment of love, Virat no longer remembered his guilt or obligations towards Pakhi. The only thing he remembered was his love for Sai as he became one with her.
Morning
Sai opens her eyes on hearing the alarm clock. She switches off the alarm clock and turns around to see Virat sleeping peacefully besides her. She smiles seeing him, brushes her hand through his hair and cheeks and then turns around to get up when she notices that Virat was sleeping on her saree pallu. She tries to free her pallu from him when he wakes up. Their eyes meet each other and they blush remembering their intimate moment of the previous night. Ghum hai kisikey pyaar mein romantic tune plays in the background. Their romantic eyelock is interrupted with Vinayak and Savi knocking on the door. Sai gets nervous and tells Virat that he is lying on her pallu. Virat takes it out, gives it to her and quickly buttons his shirt. The children continue to knock on the door. Virat goes and opens the door. The children come inside and start fighting; Virat tries to stop them and asks them, “Why are you fighting for?” Vinayak starts, “Baba Savi is saying that we will have a little sister.” Virat, “So what is wrong with that?” Vinayak, “But baba I already have a little sister. I don’t want one more little sister. I want a little brother.” Savi shouts, “But I want a little sister.” They continue to fight. Finally to stop them, Virat shouts, “You will have both!!!” Both the children and Sai were surprised. The children ask him, “We will have both?” Virat, “Yes just pray to Bappa!! You will get both a little brother and a little sister.” Savi, “But we prayed last time which is when Badi Aaji gave us the news that we are going to get a little brother or sister. So should we pray again?” Virat nods. The children happily agree and go out. After the children leave, Sai asks Virat, “Why did you fool the children?” Virat comes towards her, lies down, rests his head on her lap and tells her, “I did not fool the children. I was only telling them the truth.” Sai, “The truth?” Virat playfully circling Sai’s hair with his hands tells her, “Now if they want both brother and sister, we should also try for that right?” Sai blushingly hits him saying, “Virat!!” Virat laughs and gets up to hug her. Sai affectionately hugs him back.
Few days later, Virat and Sai go to the doctor to do a checkup if everything is alright after the mishap done by Ajay Kamble. The doctor checks Sai, goes through her reports and asks her, “Did you both ever become intimate during your pregnancy?” Both Sai and Virat were surprised. They remembered how they had got intimate a few days back. Virat asks the doctor, “Why doctor is there any complications?” The doctor smiles and says, “No infact there is an extra good news.” Sai confusedly, “Extra good news?” The doctor, “Yes. Usually a woman’s body does not ovulate once she becomes pregnant but in certain cases the woman’s body ovulates during pregnancy and if at that moment the egg gets fertilized then she becomes pregnant with twins.” Sai and Virat’s eyes widen in awe. Virat asks, “Doctor you mean to say we are going to have…” The doctor nods and says, “Yes Mr. Chavan, Mrs. Chavan is pregnant with twins!!” Virat and Sai were ecstatic. Virat tells Sai, “Sai, Bappa heard Vinu and Savi’s prayers. They are going to have a little brother and a little sister.” On saying that he hugs Sai. The latter hugs him back. The doctor clears her throat saying, “Mr. and Mrs. Chavan I know you both are really happy after hearing the news but please keep your happiness on hold and share it with your other family members.” Sai and Virat happily nod and smilingly gaze at each other.
Later, they share the good news with all the family members. All the family members except for Pakhi were overjoyed to learn that Virat and Sai were going to have twins. Pakhi in her mind cursed, “Sai snatched my rights to become a mother and now she is going to have twins? How I wish I could snatch her happiness.” Vinayak and Savi were on cloud nine after learning that they are going to have both a brother and a sister.
The happiness in Chavan family continued to bliss through Sai’s pregnancy. All in the family outpoured their care and affection on Sai throughout her pregnancy that they forgot to notice that Pakhi too had started showing slight improvements. Virat took utmost care of Sai such that he could make up for the times he missed to do it when she was pregnant with Savi. Virat together with his children kept Sai always happy and together they were living as a happy family.
9 months passed in a jiffy with the happy moments of Virat, Sai, Vinayak and Savi. Sai was now fully pregnant with twins. One night when Virat returns home late after work, he finds Sai sleepfully peacefully. He smiles seeing her sleep, silently admires her, changes his clothes and sleeps next to her with his hand wrapped around her tummy. That same night, Pakhi regains her ability to move. She was elated and goes to meet Virat. She goes to Virat’s room to call him and opens the door but was shocked to see Virat lying with his hand wrapped around Sai’s belly. Tears rolled down her cheeks. Ghum hai kisikey pyaar mein dramatic tune plays in the background. She leaves the room without disturbing them.
Much later in the night, Virat gets up to get water. When he goes near the kitchen, he hears a voice, “Congratulations Virat for becoming father again.” Virat was astonished to hear the voice and turns around to see Pakhi standing in front of him. He smiles seeing her completely well and asks, “Pakhi you are up on your feet?” Pakhi asks him, “Why Virat did you think that I will be forever stuck to that wheelchair?” Virat, “I did not mean anything like that Pakhi. I’m just happy that you are well again.” He goes forward to hug her but she stops him showing her hand. She asks him, “Why Virat why did you do this to me?” Virat was dumbstruck with that question. He accepted that he was Pakhi’s perpetrator and was ready to undergo any punishment she would give him. Virat tells her, “Listen Pakhi. I know I have done wrong to you but I have not done anything intentionally. I take full responsibility of whatever happened to you and am ready to undergo any punishment you put forth.” Pakhi, “Oh really Virat? Will you do anything that I ask you to?” Virat takes a deep long breath and says, “I promise I will.” Pakhi, “Okay then Sai is going to have twins right? Promise me that you will leave Sai and never take those two children in your arms.” Virat was appalled to hear that condition.
In Virat and Sai’s bedroom
Sai gets labour pains and cries out, “Virat!!!”
Virat looks towards his room. Ghum hai kisikey pyaar mein dramatic tune plays in the background.
