On public demand Ramayan is BACK on TV

The world’s under a lock down duw to Coronavirus and no one is ready to give the TV remote as that’s the entertainment we need to stop ourselves from stepping out of the house. While we are continuously updating you on which channels are running the older shows, there’s a news which will bring smiles to all who are in their 30s and above.

We all have grown up watching these mythological shows and once again, the TV is bringing Ramayan back to make us relive those old memories. Earlier, Shashi Shekhar, CEO of Prasar Bharati hinted at the re telecast of Ramyana and Mahabharata and said that they are working on it with the right holders.

Now, Prakash Javadekar, Minister of Information and Broadcasting confirmed the same and shared, “Happy to announce that on public demand, we are starting re-telecast of ‘Ramayana’ from tomorrow, Saturday March 28 in DD National, One episode in morning 9 am to 10 am, another in the evening 9 pm to 10 pm.”
