One afternoon, he walks in a ward, only to find his wife, missing from past six months, all bruised. She looked nothing but miserable. Her skin was pale except the blood stains on her skin. Cuts, bruises, scars and blood. Her shirt soaked in blood. But that didn’t scare him the most, the look on her face was terrifying.

That moment he felt his heart stop. It had all been his fault. His blo*dy fault.

He looked at her and traced the marks on her forearm, trying hard not to let the tears spill out of his eyes but they did.
