Shivaay POV
The next day came and I get up to wake Anika. She’s not there. I panic thinking where she has gone. In her condition, she should be taking rest. I had to look after her. She is my wife after all. I go downstairs and find her working away. She nearly died yesterday and yet again she is working. I go downstairs and close her laptop. Her eyes were about to close so I held her by my side.
Shivaay: You alright??
Anika: Yes I’m fine Sir, just tired.
Shivaay: When did you get up?
Anika: 3:27.
Shivaay: Are you mad, you need your rest na,
Anika: I’m fine.
I hold her hand, They were as cold as ice. I realize that her ring had gone.
Shivaay: ANIKA, Where is your ring.
Anika: my ring. Oh yeah Karan took it, the size wasn’t alright.
I was secretly fuming but I didn’t want to break her any more.
Shivaay: When is he coming?

Anika: 1pm, he want to do it properly … in front of everyone.
I’m deeply shocked. I need to stop this somehow…
Shivaay: Are you okay. I’m sorry for the (I point at my cheek)
Anika: It’s fine; it was a mistake, like you marrying me.
She tries to walk off but I hold her tightly, her eyes start watering and I realized I had dug my nails into her wound. Again Shivaay, why do you keep hurting her?
Shivaay: Oh I’ve got you something. I fixed this as I knew it meant a lot to you
I hand her the bracelet, the same bracelet that I had broke. She would never know that I spent 3 hours on fixing in with my own hands.
Anika: Thank you it means a lot.
Shivaay: Wait let me put some ointment on your cheek. I grab the ointment from the desk but someone holds my hand.
Om: Don’t you dare touch Anika. First you slap her and make her in this condition and now you want to help her. What kind of person are you? You play with people’s feelings. Just like Mr. Oberoi does. I’m ashamed of you.
I can’t believe what I had heard; those words from Om hit me hard pretty deep. But what he said is true.
Shivaay: Look I know you are except about the whole Daksh matter but do you not trust me.
Om( glancing at Anika quietly working): I’m guessing you don’t want me to tell Anika this.
I nod my head wondering what would happen if Anika found out.
END POV
Pinky – I heard you bad mouthing my son, why you supporting a lower class girl.
Om: Lower class or upper: they are still human and your son has made a lot of mistakes regarding Anika
Pinky leaves angrily whilst Jhanvi and Dadi, Rudra and Prinky come
Karan comes
Karan: Hello lovelies!

Anika runs upstairs hiding her cheek. She comes 5 minutes later with no mark on her cheek (she has covered it with makeup)
Anika: Hi Karan.
Shivaay: What are you doing here Karan.
Karan: I did something yesterday in such a hurry and I realized that I should have done this with all of you after all some of you are like Anika’s family.
He goes down on one knee.
Karan: Anika… will… you .. marr…
Shivaay takes the ring and throws it away.
Shivaay: Anika is not doing this shaddi. You know why because she is married to me. She is Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi.
Anika: I never was. What difference does it make to you if I marry Karan. You want me dea..
Shivaay: (cupping Anika’s mouth) Don’t ever say those words Anika. I don’t know why but every time I see you with Karan it made me jealous It seems, I can’t stand you with him.
Anika: Really.
Shivaay: Really (notices everyone smirking) Why are you smirking.
Anika:(laughing) I think it is because you lost this challenge. I told you I would win this challenge.
Shivaay realizes he’s been caught and puts both his hands up.
Rudra and Om: Did you like our plan..
Shivaay holds their ears.
Shivaay: So you were supporting your Bhabi how mean.
Anika: Anika not Bhabi.
Rudra – sorry didi, let me tell you whole story.
*Flash back*

Anika: Get ready to lose.
She walks of then finds Om and Rudra eavesdropping.
Anika: Om and Rudra I have a plan to trap Shivaay but I need your help.
Rudra: Whatever for you.
Conversation muted
Later on Om calls Karan.
Karan: Hey Om
Om: Hey, you remember Anika.
Karan: yes she went to my school ages ago.
Om: I need a favor.
Karan – Anything for Mr. painter.
Om: Do you like Acting???
*Flashback ends*
Shivaay – So you were all acting.
Karan: Why did you like it. I knew Anika and Om way back but I don’t actually like her.
Shivaay: The ring.
Anika: Oy duffer if you had noticed before, it was on the wrong hand.
Shivaay: So none of its real right what happened last night you nearly dying was fake as well na.
Om: Not exactly.

Karan: What happened yesterday? Anika, are you fine,
Anika: I’m fine now. Nothing happened
Karan: Take the make off your left cheek Anika.
Anika: What makeup??
Karan: I’m not stupid, (using a napkin he removes some makeup revealing a bruise).
Karan: Anika what is this.
Anika: Wo??
